Castelmusika invites you on Sunday 19th october 2025 to an autumnal experience between Eppan's castles and manor houses under the sign of music. The Eppan and South Tyrolean music and traditional dance groups enliven historical walls and courtyardss with a diverse repertoire.

Experience the "Allerweltskirchtag" on the church square in Marling with the "Weisenbläser" and the Whip-Crackers from Marling! After the church service, around 9:30 AM, you’ll have the opportunity to experience local tradition and customs up close. A special experience for everyone!

The traditional "Erntedank"-procession will be accompanied by the Parcines music band. After the Holy Mass and the procession, a short concert will be held. The "Welsberger Kirta" starts with the festive parade of the Music village band of Monguelfo at 10:45 am. through the Village center. A request concert follows on the Piazza Centrale, where visitors can enjoy their favorite music. Food and drink are well catered for, with Tyrolean specialties, drinks and Kirtakrapfen. This event promises not only musical delights, but also a convivial get-together in a festive atmosphere.

Would you like to find out more about the fascinating world of goats? Then come to the Goat Festival "Goas Festival" with bell flea market, leather embroidery, basket weaving and a small farmers' market. - 8 a.m. - 9 a.m. drive up - 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. puncturing of the 2021 goats - 2 - 4 p.m. ring demonstration - 4 p.m. awarding of the goats Martin's farm shop takes care of food and drinks.

During the Chestnut Days "KESCHTNRIGGL", everything revolves around the "Tisner Kescht" (Chestnut of Tesimo). During the Chestnut Days, menus in selected restaurants feature specially created chestnut dishes. The chestnut is the protagonist of numerous events during the Chestnut Days KESCHTNRIGGL.

Keschtnriggl - Chestnut days. The Chestnut Weeks and the Törggelen in Merano and Environs have been a South Tyrolean Tradition for years. Chestnut days in Tesimo/Tisens - Prissiano/Prissian, Foiana/Völlan and Lana gets ist Name from the "Keschtnriggl" - a hand-braided basket for Peeling roast chestnuts. For three weeks, a colourful Event Programme is put on for visitors: Chestnut walks, torchlight processions from castle to castle and the "Keschtnfestl" feast in Foiana, with Music, farmers market, chestnut delicates and traditional crafts. The aromatic fruit with ist spiky Shell, grows particularly well in Merano and Environs, and during this green Event has pride of place in the specialities of traditional inns and prestigious Restaurants, as well as in exquisite chestnut products such as sweet chestnut hearts, aromatic chestnut beer, hearty chestnut stollen, tasty chestnut spraed, luxuriant chestnut cake, fluffy chestnut bread, the excellent chestnut panettone as well as the noble chestnut praline.

and thus built up one of the best winegrowing regions in Italy.

As part of the Naturno Gourmet Autumn, winegrowers and cellar masters will be presenting their

wineries and wine collections at this year:

During a guided tour of the Wezl private distillery, Jochen explains the creation of grappa and the important role played by the grape. Both the grappa and the accompanying wine will be tasted. Because wine and grappa harmonize excellently with chocolate, this sweet seduction is served for tasting. The event will be in German.

Naturno has made a name for itself as a market town in recent years; the much-visited and popular weekly market on Saturdays has become indispensable for locals and holidaymakers alike, and attracts many visitors to the village. The "Kirchtigmarkt" is one of the three annual markets where up to 55 stallholders offer their goods.

Let yourself be transported on an oenological journey that goes far beyond the palate. The wines in this tasting evening come from high-altitude grape varieties from wine-growing areas all over Italy. We discover different terroirs and wine potential, from which grapes have been cultivated at the highest altitudes in extraordinary climatic zones. An unforgettable experience for all wine lovers. You love apples, but have never thought about who is behind the juicy-sweet vitamin bombs? Then a guided apple tour through the orchards is just the thing for you. Our apple farmer accompanies you through the apple meadows and tells you interesting facts about the diverse fruit. Afterwards, farmers Gitti and Sepp will make, bake and, of course, taste Apfelkiachl (apple fritters). A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better. Limited number of participants.

Every farmer’s wife has her culinary secrets! At the farmer’s kitchen on the Raiffeisenplatz market square, Scena's farmers’ wives offer authentic traditional and tasty specialities. "Törggelen" is a popular autumn custom for enjoying harvest fruits like chestnuts, apples and grapes. Ham and cheese, young wine and local dishes, all taste so much better when enjoyed in company and good music!

ONLY IN GERMAN! From the beginning of October, at the end of the grape harvest, until the beginning of the pre-Christmas season is "Törggelezeit". After leisurely walks through the golden autumn landscape, guests and South Tyroleans enjoy the products of the harvest, especially chestnuts and new wine (Sußer). On this week's hike we visit the Florerhof farm. We take the bus from the village centre of Schenna to Verdins and hike via the Wieser Steig up to the Schenner Waalweg until we reach the Florerhof farm and after a cosy stop for refreshments we walk back down to St. Georgen. From the starting point you are free to decide whether to return on foot or by bus. Of course, a Törggelemenü and hearty music are not to be missed! From the centre of Barbiano/Eisacktal we hike in the direction of the ‘Trimm Dich Weg’, past the sports zone to ‘Bad Dreikirchen’, with its three unique chapels built next to each other. We walk along the easy forest path to the ‘Briol’ inn and on to the upper (45 m high) and lower waterfall (85 m high), the highest point of the hike. Now it's downhill and back to the starting point. Elevation gain: approx. 600 m Walking time: approx. 3.5 hours Difficulty: moderate

Sheep shearing is the very first step in the journey "from sheep to sweater" – a traditional craft that requires skill and experience. At the MuseumPasseier, professional sheep shearer Albert will demonstrate how sheep are sheared, while Annelies shares fascinating facts and stories about sheep and their role in local culture. The tour continues at Spinnradl, a local business where regional sheep's wool has been processed into unique knitted jackets since 1948. Owner Franz will guide you through the workshops, giving you an up-close look at the entire process – from washing the wool, carding, spinning, and knitting, all the way to sewing the finished garments. To round off the experience, you'll get hands-on and creative during a felting workshop – an authentic craft adventure for all ages! New Wines with Old Roots “New Val Venosta wines” as fine-structured mountain wines from Colsano. Thomas Plack was precisely nineteen years old when he took over the estate in Colsano at the foot of Monte Mezzodì in the Val Venosta in 1989. Today, in addition to five hectares of fruit orchards, he also manages three hectares of vineyards upon which, as Plack himself says, “new Val Venosta wines” are created. Guided "Törggele" hike with guide Helena Graf, with a stop at a traditional farm and a cosy get-together in the "Stube". Meeting point: Tourist Office Feldthurns, 10.00 am, return around 4.00 pm. Every Wednesday between 8.30 am to 12.30 am, the pedestrian zone and Peter-Glückh-Platz in Malles/Mals bustle with activity. Fresh local produce, such as fruit, berries and vegetables, cheeses, bacon and bread types, jam, vinegar, juices and herbal teas, are always available for sale at the market. There are also craft and handicraft products made of stone, wood or felt for sale, as well as textiles, leather goods, plants, and equipment of all kinds for house and garden. From June to September, the market is held together with the farmers' market in the pedestrian zone, where producers from the area offer bacon and cheese, fruit and vegetables. The surrounding guesthouses and restaurants offer special dishes to the respective market focus.

Immerse yourself in one of the most beautiful hikes in the Seiser Alm Dolomites Region. This tour offers breathtaking views, alpine charm, and authentic South Tyrolean flair - perfect for anyone wanting to experience the Dolomites at their best. Tour Description: We take bus line 176 from Tiers to Ums. Starting in Ums, we follow trail no. 4, which leads us through an enchanting forest and across the Schlernbach stream. The ascent is steep, but together we’ll make it—and the view from Tschafonleger and the Tschafon Hut at 1,728 meters rewards our effort. We’ll take a short detour to the Völseggspitze before returning via trail no. 4A. The descent leads past the picturesque Wuhnleger to Weißlahnbad, where we’ll end the hike together. Kaltern Pop is the name of Kaltern's lakeview festival, entirely dedicated to everyone who is fond of music, wine and good food. Those who haven't missed the last edition of the Kaltern Pop Festival will remember it as three truly unforgettable October days: about 30 international bands as well as solo artists have inspired and touched both local and foreign visitors with their different styles and great professionalism. At the Algund Farmers' Market from October 23rd to 26th, fresh, regional, and homemade products from all over South Tyrol will be showcased and offered for sale. Join us and be inspired by the variety of agricultural products. Fresh chestnuts will be roasted daily. Two farmers will provide visitors with homemade dishes and serve freshly harvested wines and drinks from their own production. A special program with live music will round off the event.
