The traditional restaurant of the FORST brewery – Bräustüberl – is an exclusively and tastefully furnished building right at the heart of the FORST brewery premises along the main road, leading from Meran to the Vinschgau. This is a place for true beer-lovers and a centre of beer culture. It offers its guests the entire beer range of the FORST brewery along with harmonically composed traditional gastronomy. The inviting atmosphere of the Bräustüberl gives great importance to the combination of traditional dishes and excellent draught beers. In this ambience traditional South Tyrolean cuisine comes to its peak, original dumplings, pork knuckles and local specialties like the famous birramisù, a creative variation of the tiramisù.

Regional and traditional cuisine

Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.

With us you will experience a rustically time travel in our bar, made with wood and in our traditional "Stube". During the warm season we will spoil you on our comfortable terrace. In addition to traditional specialities we also offer Mediterranean and seasonal dishes.

At Zunerhof we daily serve excellent dumplings, “Spätzle” but also Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli with spinach filling) Herrengröstel (meat dish with roasted potatoes), roasted pork knuckle (upon request) and much much more. In addition to that we also offer a fine selection of South Tyrolean wines as well as home-made juices. Wonderful specialities which will be served in one of our beautiful Stuben of the 16th century, or, as soon as the weather allows it, on our sunny terrace. Some of the many specialities you can taste at Zunerhof: •Deer gulash with porcino mushrooms •Dumpling tris with salad •“Herrngröstel” with bacon coleslaw •Home-made “Schlutzer” •Roasted pork knuckles cooked in the traditional wooden oven (upon request)

Traditional cuisine with fresh local products, South Tyrolean specialities and delicacies from both culinary cultures, are a big deal in our house. Home made food with the right touch of refinement: as a “village guesthouse” with tradition, the food needs to do justice to its history and reputation. Obviously with a well assorted wine-cellar. Because here, grapes are kissed by the sun.

Our guesthouse is nestled in a charming landscape on the outskirts of Lichtenberg. Our menu offers a great selection of plain fare to our guests.

Constantly conjuring up new menus, our head chef will tempt you with hearty fare. He makes particular use of local produce. The pizzas from the wood-burning oven are also very tasty! Located directly on the Meraner Höhenweg, we are the ideal starting point for hikes in and around the Texel Group Nature Park and offer our guests in addition to cozy Brettljausen, warm cuisine with traditional and international dishes and a cozy place to sleep everything your heart desires. From Algund by chairlift, car, or on foot (about 1/2 hour) to Vellau. From there with the basket lift or on foot (about 1 1/2 hour) continue directly to Leiteralm. You can also reach us from Dorf Tirol via Hochmuth u. the Hans-Friedenweg. Guests wishing to enjoy the unique "Meraner Höhenweg" (No. 24) will find ideal conditions for boarding and accommodation
