Enjoy genuine dishes with a taste of tradition. The Piccolruaz d'Alfarëi family offers typical Ladin cuisine with a fixed menu in one of the oldest farmhouses in the Badia Valley. Situated four minutes from the centre of the pretty village of Badia, the restaurant has been run by the same family since 1645. Thanks to a long agricultural tradition and a deep connection with the land, it offers you an experience that will take you back in time, tasting the products of the farm and dining in the traditional STÜA and the cosy STANGODE. This small farmhouse represents a combination of passion and tradition, where food becomes an opportunity to taste the true Ladin culture.

Our local Restaurant "La Mont", offers special gourmet delights. From fresh regional products Chef Mario Porcelli creates tasting events, starters, main courses and desserts: venison Carpaccio with cranberry jelly or the finest South Tyrolean bacon dumplings in a beef bouillon, and not to forget about the beef fillet in a hay crust or the fruits of the forest cup with a special mix of yoghurt, honey and mint ice-cream. Spoiling the palate with new special delights from strange far flung countries again and again, is probably one of the small secrets to a happy life. This is why we are here for you. The Ganischgeralm is in one of the sunniest locations in the heart of the hike and Ski Centre Latemar – Obereggen, at the foot of Latemar, in Pampeago. Ganischgeralm, the highest Beer-garden of the Alps, is easy to reach following one of the hiking and mountain bike paths, or skiing on the slopes of the Ski Centre Latemar, or with the chairlift from Pampeago. Taste the traditional dishes, such as pork’s or calves’ knuckles combined with a delicious fresh beer and a 360° view to the amazing Dolomites. In winter, every day from 2 pm our DJs start the warm up with best beats directly in the red & white umbrella. You can reach the Ganischgeralm from Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo. Hot food from 10:30 a.m. to 04:00 p.m.
