Under the guidance of Chef Simone Cantafio, East and West meet in a burst of colors and flavors. In our Michelin-starred wunderkammer, food is an alphabet of matter, nature, and memory that evolves into a language of taste balanced between beauty, flavor, and seduction.

Smells and flavours from South Tyrol... We offer Mediterranean and regional cuisine with high-quality products. We favour local products, fresh bread from our trusted baker every day, South Tyrolean jams and honey, hand-picked teas and infusions, local eggs and homemade cakes and tarts. Wines from a large selection of exclusively South Tyrolean labels.

Our kitchen team looks forward to pampering you with freshly prepared dishes such as goulash and dumplings, pasta, mushroom dishes, wild game dishes, barbecue specialities (every Sunday through the summer), our home-made Kaiserscharrn, apple strudel and much more. Sit and enjoy a glass of our home-made juice (elderberry, blackcurrant etc) and indulge yourself with our specialities. And to finish off, why not try one of our home-made liquors (mountain pine or blueberry)

HOW CHEF FRANZ CASTLUNGER AND HIS COLLABORATORS INTERPRET GOOD TASTE Local, with products from farmers in the Ladin valleys and fresh vegetables from the garden. Regional, with raw materials, mainly organic, selected in South Tyrol. National, with delicacies from carefully selected Italian producers. International, with a creative interpretation of gastronomic inputs selected from the cuisines of the world. This is the way of cooking in our restaurant in San Cassiano, open to house guests and those passing through, to whom we recommend making a reservation in order to enjoy.

Our local Restaurant "La Mont" (only winter), offers special gourmet delights. From fresh regional products Chef Mario Porcelli creates tasting events, starters, main courses and desserts: venison Carpaccio with cranberry jelly or the finest South Tyrolean bacon dumplings in a beef bouillon, and not to forget about the beef fillet in a hay crust or the fruits of the forest cup with a special mix of yoghurt, honey and mint ice-cream. Spoiling the palate with new special delights from strange far flung countries again and again, is probably one of the small secrets to a happy life. This is why we are here for you. For dinner we suggest the Alpenroyal Gourmet Restaurant - 1 Michelin star.

Pizzeria Restaurant Sandheim

The Pirchhof lies on the Sonnenberg near Naturns, right above the Meran High Altitude Path and offers a unique view of the Vinschgau valley. You will be able to enjoy typical South Tyrolean products mostly produced on the premises on the sunny terrace or inside, far away from everyday life. The Pirchhof offers Farm Holidays too. Open daily from Mid-March to Mid-November, in December only at weekends. Orders for evening meals only taken in advance.

The traditional alpine hut is located on a vast clearing at 1,700 m above sea level. If you are looking for peace, this is the place for you! The hut can be reached from the Ackerboden car park in 1 hour, in summer also via the Bressanone Altitude Trail in 3 hours.

Valentina: the pleasure of feeling at home! A well-kept, simple and authentic family-run Pizzeria & Restaurant in the heart of South Tyrol. Here you will have the opportunity to try and savour the classics of Italian cuisine, combined with local products and food and wine specialities. As the way to someone’s heart is through his stomach, we at the “Alter Schlachthof” select our products almost exclusively from local farmers and selected suppliers from the immediate vicinity. Because only using fresh, natural and high-quality ingredients, we are able to create dishes for you which are delicious and healthy at the same time. This applies to South Tyrolean classics as well as forays into the international cuisine, vegetarian and vegan variations and titbits which are suitable for guests with food intolerances.

On daily basis, Hannes prepares fresh Mediterranean and South-Tirol specialities onto your table, of course using only fresh herbs and vegetables from our garden and meat products from the farm. An experience for gourmets

We offer different types of pasta which we prepare fresh on a daily basis. We take our Italian culinary heritage seriously. This is why you can expect carefully selected, high-quality ingredients from Südtirol and Italy that meet organic standards. We're three adventurers with a passion for great pasta. In 2021, we set up our shop Carma at the gourmet haven Brennerstrasse 6 in Brixen to share with you our prized tradition of comforting Italian cuisine. Carma stands for uncompromising Italian and Südtirol taste. That is why we make our pasta exclusively with fresh products delivered straight from Italy. Come by and taste for yourself!

At Tapas you can enjoy traditional local and international cuisine. In addition to the varied lunch menu with delicious regional dishes, we serve a variety of snacks for smaller appetites throughout the day.

In addition to the quaint coziness and dreamlike location, it’s the culinary expertise of Franz Pernthaler that has made gastronomes the world-over recommend the Schatzer Lodge. The excellent menus, prepared every evening by the lodge’s chef for the guests, have to be compared with, but do not pale in comparison to, those that the majority of the so-called gourmet restaurants offer their diners. And thus the chef ‘de Cuisine’ daily conjures up new Lucullian marvels based on traditional Tyrolean cuisine, and thereby is the freshness of his ingredients particularly close to heart. These ingredients and his creativity secure him over and over again the admiration of his guests.

Join us at our sun terrace or in the cozy bar and dining room from 11:30 a.m. - 8:30 p.m. for South Tyrolean specialties and Mediterranean and international dishes. Great emphasis is placed on freshness of ingredients and local products. Different daily specials on offer according to season. In the morning, guests can savor a delightful breakfast in a warm atmosphere. In the afternoon, we will gladly prepare a hearty Marende with local bacon, smoked sausage and spicy cheeses. The Schönau inn is ideal for those seeking a special and exceptional place for birthday, family or business celebrations.

The Foodparc Brix 0.1 restaurant is an innovative concept that combines kitchen, bar, pub and ice cream shop under one roof. In line with the concept it is also architecture - cosmopolitan and modern - and it is still rooted in South Tyrol.

The pub is located directly at the valley station of the gondola lift Plose: In winter at the end of the Trametsch downhill run and the RudiRun toboggan run - in summer at the end of the mountaincarts route. The large sun terrace invites you to take a comfortable break in winter and summer.
