The Ganischgeralm is in one of the sunniest locations in the heart of the hike and Ski Centre Latemar – Obereggen, at the foot of Latemar, in Pampeago. Ganischgeralm, the highest Beer-garden of the Alps, is easy to reach following one of the hiking and mountain bike paths, or skiing on the slopes of the Ski Centre Latemar, or with the chairlift from Pampeago. Taste the traditional dishes, such as pork’s or calves’ knuckles combined with a delicious fresh beer and a 360° view to the amazing Dolomites. In winter, every day from 2 pm our DJs start the warm up with best beats directly in the red & white umbrella. You can reach the Ganischgeralm from Obereggen, Pampeago and Predazzo. Four wonderful dining rooms, designed according to the principles of "Emotional Design" and created using exclusively high-quality materials. Our dishes vary depending on the season, but are characterized by their simple preparation and the freshness of the ingredients used. Only top-quality products are transformed into delicacies. In addition to the cheese specialties from the Lüch Da Pcëi farm, our menu also offers a variety of salads, fish dishes, homemade pasta, speck and cheese platters, yogurt cups, as well as ice cream, milkshakes, and delicious fruit salads. The starting idea of La Smorfia, a project launched back in 2014, was to take a good pizza to Merano. Our mission is to use one of the most popular courses of Italian tradition to spread products, flavours and recepies through iconic Mediterraneancuisine plates. We have been so successful in doing this that the project evolved in 2021 into "The South in Tyrol", an improvement of our offer which enabled us to pair our food choice with the national enological richness. Throughout this constant growing process we got to La Smorfia Experience, a room dedicated to a more rational culinary approach, a whole access to food and wines from our cellar. The renowned international guide Falstaff awarded us in 2022 as the best pizzeria in South Tyrol.

In our cozy farmhouse inn or on the sunny terrace, you can enjoy the finest dishes of Ladin and Tyrolean cuisine. The dishes we cook with great tradition are based on excellent products from our agriculture and the region: dumplings with goulash, creamy soup from the Rit meadows, and tagliatelle with ragout are some of our specialties. Of course, wines and beers from South Tyrol cannot be missing. However, our flagship are the meat dishes. Every day we offer dishes made from Angus beef from our herd, a very flavorful, tender, and rich in Omega-3 fatty acids meat.

In the beginnings a horse stable, the original vault from the 17 century was restored and conected with modern architectur. Open since 04.05.01 the area is daily open from 08.00 to 24.00. We serve pizzas and other food from 12.00 to 14.00 (in the high season we have non stop pizza service from 12.00 to 23.00) and at night from 17.30 to 23.00. Sigmund is one the most tradition-steeped restaurants in Meran’s Old Town. Located near the pedestrian area, at the Bozner Gate, it offers excellent South Tyrolean home-style cooking with some culinary forays into Italy. The Furkel Hut is beautifully situated at 2,153 meters above Trafoi in the Venosta Valley and is an ideal destination for mountain enthusiasts. The Flora inn is located where the courthouse was, back in 1400. It was then turned into a restaurant, actually being the first starred one for a certain time. Placed in the upper Portici, the Flora, now a tavern, proposes Italian courses, homemade pasta, regional and Venetian top quality ingredients. There is also a wide choice of cicchetti/spuncetti, the small appetisers of the Venetian cuisine. This tavern is the perfect location for lunches, dinners and private parties with live music.
