At the Hotel Guesthouse Post you can enjoy a holiday and taste the original South Tyrolean cuisine. You can go back to basics and enjoy what makes you feel good. A church, a handful of houses, a lot of nature. Where we are? In Maria Trens, in the municipality of Campo di Trens. An idyllic place of pilgrimage in the Eisack Valley. Go on a culinary pleasure trip in relaxing atmosphere. Whether Mediterranean dishes or hearty South Tyrolean specialties - the culinary summit is reached with the dessert.

The restaurant Tomanegger is sitauted directly near to the hiking bus stop. Its grand terrace offers a magnificent view of Catinaccio (Rosengarten) and Dolomites. The menu is versatile and includes both Italian and South Tyrolean specialities. The restaurant is closed on Wednesday.

In our restaurant in Alta Badia you can taste several house specialties: from Ladin and rustic tastes to traditional Italian and international cuisine. While you are eating you can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding landscape through the windows of the restaurant. Almost all products and ingredients come from the area, and our seasonal dishes are prepared with fresh products from the local market. The offer is completed with a great selection of wines from our wine cellar. The restaurant is also ideal for business events, family celebrations and association meetings.

Hmmm, what a wonderful food fragrance touches my nose? I smell the warm sweetness of the potatoes and the spice smoked bacon. This mixture is refined, only just picked fresh alpine herbs and already on my plate! Appetite to get our Tyrolean Geröstl, or can it would rather be a freshly baked apple pie? The food on our mountain hut of Mahlknechthütte is very tasty and all meals are prepared with love.

In our restaurant, we offer the possibility of organizing various types of parties and weddings. During the summer and winter season we offer a Ladin dinner once a week, featuring the specialties of our little valley. Our enthusiastic chefs surprise guests with local specialties and delicacies of Mediterranean cuisine. Accompanied by wine that you may choose from the many labels of our cellar, the dishes prepared with fresh products of the region will conquer even the most delicate palates.

In April and May we offer classic and newly interpreted dishes by Terlan's Margarete asparagus.

Vinumgarten - the name of the restaurant provides not just a cozy place in our garden, but also the special connection from good food and excellent wine. It awaits an authentic Alpine-Mediterranean cuisine, combined with fine wines of small local wineries in the unique setting of two wooden wine barrels. The cuisine of the owner and chef Klaus Pircher reflects the classic and modern South Tyrol. Selected seasonal products from producers in the area can be found in the kitchen. For aperitif Aperol from Marling of the private distillery Unterthurner, followed by fresh mountain butter from Unterschweighof from the Ulten Valley combined with homemade bread and fresh vegetables from South Tyrol, this are just a few examples.

In addition to the quaint coziness and dreamlike location, it’s the culinary expertise of Franz Pernthaler that has made gastronomes the world-over recommend the Schatzer Lodge. The excellent menus, prepared every evening by the lodge’s chef for the guests, have to be compared with, but do not pale in comparison to, those that the majority of the so-called gourmet restaurants offer their diners. And thus the chef ‘de Cuisine’ daily conjures up new Lucullian marvels based on traditional Tyrolean cuisine, and thereby is the freshness of his ingredients particularly close to heart. These ingredients and his creativity secure him over and over again the admiration of his guests.

With fresh ingredients and a passion for perfection, we'll prepare mouth-watering dishes for your personal enjoyment. Come and experience it with all your senses! The Tschötsch Alm is open daily from 8:30 a.m. till 17:30 p.m. We serve warm dishes from 11:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. In the evening, we can prepare special treats for you, upon request. The Plonerhof Restaurant Inn in Gereuth is famous for its excellent cuisine and it makes use of locally grown produce (milk, vegetables, meat) as well as game and Tyrolean style specialties. It is the ideal meeting point for family and company events. In the autumn it is the ideal place for "Törggelen" with steaming hot chestnuts and new wine!
