Ütia da Rit mountain hut is located in an amazing territory, among the most famous Dolomites Peaks, and it is an important refreshment point for tourists and travelers. Our mountain hut is in the small village of La Val ("La Valle") at 2000 meters altitude, at the gates of the beautiful Natural Park of Fanes-Sennes-Braies. Our guests can enjoy here the typical South Tyrolean cuisine and wines, both inside and outside the hut. Our tasty but healthy menu offers cold starters, traditional alpine soups, home-made pasta, meat and egg plates, as well as tasty desserts…

The building was registered in the late 19th century as "house with courtyard and tavern". The restaurant business has always characterised the historic building which as early as 1786 proposed itself as an inn and retailer of traditional South Tyrolean cuisine. We can say that Casa al Torchio is the oldest restaurant in Bolzano. The restaurant offers today typical South Tyrolean cuisine and Italian gastronomic specialties created by the owners Ivan and Willy Waldner. Each dish is expertly structured to respect tradition with a touch of creativity and imagination. The restaurant has a capacity of about 90 seats, divided into 3 characteristic rooms on the 1st floor and 50 seats on the 2nd floor. In addition to lunch and dinner, you can also enjoy a good pizza. A selection of wines from the best local and national wineries and a selection of craft beers can accompany your dishes.

The restaurant's kitchen offers an extensive menu of Japanese dishes: sushi, sashimi, nigiri, uramaki and much more. Not only raw fish dishes but also cooked for those who do not like raw fish. The traditional cuisine is called nihon-ryori in Japanese.

For those who have known us for many years, our restaurant at Passo Campolongo is truly a must-visit! The strudels and polenta with venison from Senior Albina have become legendary in the Dolomites Passes. Anyone who has had the chance to taste them fondly remembers their flavor, texture, and aroma. The main feature of Monte Cherz is its tradition, evident in every detail, from the dining rooms to the bar. The restaurant offers classics of Ladin tradition, from the typical canederli with butter and smoked ricotta to the strudel with South Tyrolean apples, cinnamon, raisins, and pine nuts, all made according to traditional recipes. A visit to the Hopfen & Co. brewery-restaurant is a must for every guest of Bolzano. The former corner tower of the city walls with the old prison, is now a museumlike-building offering culinary hospitality. The medieval cellar houses the fresh and tasty Bozner Bier, which is served directly to the tables in the antique “Stuben” on the three floor's restaurant. A place of culinary pleasures based on appetizing traditional South Tyrolean dishes, with carefully selected products and raw materials from the region. Speck, cold meats and cheese bearing the South Tyrolean brand. Knödel, spätzle, ravioli are made by hand by our kitchen brigade.

Enjoy the popular Sylvaner white wine in the Sylvanerhof's bar. Our guesthouse opened in 1969 and was named after this grape variety. As pioneers of the variety, our father and grandfather planted it on the slopes of Kranebitt and Neustift. Since then it has become one of the most highly valued wines in the Eisack Valley. You can enjoy the peace and unique view of the Karspitz and Lake Radlsee over a delicious ice cream sundae or a homemade apple strudel and an excellent Italian cappuccino from our sun terrace.
