In the Restaurant Zum Engel in Vipiteno we pay much attention to choose only seasonal and biological products cultivated in the surroundings. In our restaurant near the ski and recreational area Monte Cavallo we spoil you with culinary delights of our gourmet cuisine. The gastronomic weeks dedicated to specialties such as asparagus, yogurt and mushrooms are highly appreciated among our guests.     Young chef Franz Mulser conjures up superlative dishes in a small kitchen just two and a half square metres in size at an altitude of 1930 m. The young chef’s maxim is “fresh and natural”. The hut has a maximum capacity of 25 people and, in the evenings, meals must be booked in advance. During the day, hikers and, in winter, skiers and snowboarders come here in search of refreshment. The evenings are particularly relaxing and guests can enjoy Franz’s dishes, such as hay soup with truffles or local venison.

On Wasserebene you will find everything a sportsman's heart desires, from a beach volleyball court, a children's playground, an artificial turf field, which can be rented for private tournaments and events, to a soccer field on which various top clubs (e.g. Fiorentina, Hellas Verona, Al Nasr) have already held their summer training camps. But not only sportive has the Sportzone Wasserebene a lot to offer. Culinary you will be spoiled by the boss himself.
