Stopover at the hut followed by a joint toboggan run (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) down to Saltria, where a shuttle take us back to Monte Pana. You will hear historical and current facts about Marling and one or two Christmas stories on the evening lantern walk through the village center of Marling. You will be accompanied by our local guide Johanna. After the evening walk, you’ll be welcomed at the pavilion in Marling with sweet pastries, a glass of Marling wine, or a refreshing South Tyrolean apple juice, the perfect way to conclude a unforgettable evening. On Friday, December 19, 2025, the Kastelruther Spatzen invite you to their atmospheric Christmas concert, taking place at the Telfen Tennis Hall in Kastelruth. This year, the concert will be held exclusively on Friday – a special evening full of music, emotion, and festive spirit awaits all visitors. In the afternoon, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, fans will have the chance to meet the Kastelruther Spatzen in person: an autograph session with the popular musicians will take place at the Christmas market in Kastelruth. Musical accompaniment will be provided by the Alphorn Players and the "Kastelruther Turmbläser", creating a festive atmosphere. Admission to the concert begins at 3:00 PM at the Telfen Tennis Hall. From this time on, food and refreshments will be available. The concert itself starts at 5:00 PM, when the Kastelruther Spatzen will perform their most beautiful and heartfelt Christmas songs – a touching musical experience, perfect for the Advent season. The cultural association "Il Telaio" invites to the jazz concert with the big band Jazzset from Verona.

The four cellists belong to different generations, but there are no differences when it comes to making music together. They have received extensive musical training in South Tyrol and abroad. In this concert programme, together with Andreas Benedikter on the organ, contrasting and exciting works are performed. In between, there are improvisations on the organ that refer to melodies and pieces just played by the cellists. The soft and warm sound of a cello quartet meets the power and spirituality of the organ. The Athesis Ensemble consists of musicians from South Tyrol and various regions of Italy. The instrumentation and size of the ensemble is variable - from a duo to a string orchestra. It combines a healthy mix of experience and youthful energy, consisting of teachers as well as chamber and orchestral musicians who love making music in small ensembles. The members of the ensemble regularly play in renowned orchestras, including the Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, the Orchestra Cherubini, the Orchestra del Comunale di Bologna, the Orchestra dell'Opera di Roma, the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano e Trento and the Orchestra del Teatro Regio di Torino. A snowshoe hike to discover the winter magic of Resciesa. In the company of a guide you will explore the Resciesa Alp in the middle of the Puez-Odle Nature Park, which offers a wonderful view of the surrounding landscape. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2,254m). Once you arrive at the mountain station, start heading East by passing behind the hut. Although you'll be following a prepared track, it's possible to put on your snowshoes right away! After only a few minutes you'll reach the Cason hut. Keep wakling until you reach a crucifix, then continue uphill through the woods. Soon you'll reach the edge of the forest and the wide pastures of Resciesa will extend at your feet. You'll notice a little tower made of rocks nearby - it's called "Ciampanil de Livio" and was built by a bored shepherd while his sheep were grazing in the surrounding pastures. From here you'll be able to clearly make out the crest of Resciesa. You can reach it in little time by following a trail uphill. Once you get to the ridge, walk along it to the west (you should be able to make out a crucifix in the distance) and you'll eventually reach the highest part of the alp. Take your time to enjoy the 360 degree view from the top. To your left, you'll be able to admire the pastures above Villandro, to the North the mountains of Zillertal, to the South Alpe di Siusi with mount Sciliar and the Rosengarten, and to the East of course the unmistakable Odle mountains. This view alone is worth the excursion - it's one of the best in the valley. Once you've taken it all in, simply hike back in direction Resciesa hut - that is your last chance to enjoy a well-deserved break before returning to the middle station and getting back to Ortisei. Arrived in Ortisei we take the bus back to Laion. Walking time: 4 h Height difference in ascent:310 m Height difference in descent: 650 m Distance: 9,5 km

“Snow Tubing by night” takes place every Wednesday evening from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Both young and old can race down the fun track on inflatable tubes, creating unforgettable winter evenings. Participation is free with the Guest Pass of the Kronplatz Dolomites Region (Olang, Antholz Valley, Bruneck, Kiens, St. Vigil). All others pay an entry fee of €5.00.

Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2163m). From the top station, take trail no. 35, to the Brogles Hut (2054m). Behind the hut the path joins the Adolf Munkel path, which was built as early as 1905. You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent by a toboggan (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen.
