The Dumpling Pleasure Marathon – the event where sporting fun, breathtaking nature, and culinary delights come together! Set against the stunning backdrop of the Val Casies Valley, this indulgent journey appeals to all the senses. The 42-kilometer-long Val Casies Valley rail offers numerous entry points, allowing for a flexible and leisurely day. From 11:00 am. to 04:00 pm., restaurants along the route provide a wide variety of Knödel specialties – from classic, hearty versions to surprisingly modern interpretations. The Dumpling pleasure marathon is the perfect meeting place for food enthusiasts and nature lovers. Whether a seasoned skier or a leisurely walker, everyone is welcome to enjoy movement, a friendly atmosphere, and delicious culinary treats. A day full of culinary discoveries and unforgettable impressions awaits!

On Wednesday of each week you can ski from one alpine hut to the next and taste the Bestof togheter with a specialized sommelier. The tasting includes various hand made milk products from local dairy cooperatives. A ski instructor takes care of you and will bring you back safely.

The cable car König Laurin stays open until 5pm so you can enjoy the slopes until the last rays of sunshine! This makes your ski day with friends a special experience! Wine-tasting with Alto Adige wines at 2000 m. The Wine Skisafari offers a cheerful expedition on skis across the country’s multitude of wines. Tickets are available online and also on the day of the event at participating huts: - Ütia Bioch - Pralongiá hut - Piz Arlara - I Tablá Alta Badia, the Dolomite region for epicurean holidays, supports, among other things, the responsible use of alcohol under the motto: taste, enjoy, but don't overdo it. Too much alcohol on the slopes slows down reflexes and can cause accidents even on the ski slopes. Please remember, when skiing, the consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderate quantities, fines will be imposed if the alcohol level exceeds 0.5 per mille. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

n the villages of Vilpian, Siebeneich and Terlan asparagus has been grown for centuries. Today 15 asparagus growers in Terlan plant approx. 10 ha of high quality asparagus and sell it under the trade mark and hallmark of excellence Margarete. The elegant looking and extremely mild tasting Terlan asparagus is very popular with the connoisseurs of this white spring vegetable. In April and May several restaurants invite visitors to enjoy classic and creative asparagus dishes made with the valuable Margarete asparagus. Fresh asparagus with home-cured ham, boiled potatoes and Bozner sauce is one of the classics. The meal is accompanied by the fine, mineral containing Terlano “asparagus wine” (Sauvignon) from the Terlan winery.

From early afternoon till late at night the famous "Traminer Weingassl" or Wine Alleyway will be scene of exciting adventures which, for a few hours at least, will take you far from your daily routine and offer you a special evening in the magnificent autumn detting, along the Wine Road. The celebrations of the "Wine Alleyway", in the heart of the historic centre of Termeno which is open only to pedestrians, is an appointment not to be missed: the best Traminer wines will be offered in cups made for this very occasion along with special South Tyrolean delicacies in an atmosphere of music and folklore.

The farmers’ festival at Teis, which will take place on 19th October 2025, is one of South Tyrol’s most traditional festivals and a true journey of discovery through the crafts and customs of the Villnöss valley. On the festival, you’ll learn how to do old farm crafts such as baking bread, weaving baskets and hats, felting, carving and pottery.
