    Guided E-Bike Family Tour Pfeifer Huisele
    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
    The guided e-bike tour starts at the Rent and Go bike rental at the Ratschings valley station. We start with a group game and playfully learn the most important riding safety tips. Afterwards we drive together along the Pfeifer Huisele path to Flading to the barefoot path with Kneipp facility. There we have a little refreshment at the witches' fountain. Fun balancing exercises await us before we head back to the starting point. The tour is fun for adults and children from 6 years (only with driving experience). On request, a child seat for children up to 20 kg or a bicycle trailer for max. 2 children up to 5 years can be reserved. The e-bike tour is accompanied by a trained South Tyrolean bike guide.

    “Can it be a little more?” - Hike to the Glecksee lake
    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
    The starting point is Flading in the Ratschingstal valley. Our route takes us up to the Gleckalm (not cultivated) via trail no. 30. The route alternates between flatter and steeper sections, which makes the hike particularly varied. The landscape presents itself in all its diversity and beauty. Once we have reached the Gleckalm plateau, we continue on our way to the Glecksee lake. The way back is mostly along the same path, but there is the option of organizing an alternative downhill version via the Klammalm. Total distance: 10.6 km (5.5 km to Glecksee) Total duration: 6.5 hours Difference in altitude: 950 m Difficulty: difficult - sure-footedness is required, a good level of fitness is essential and prior training is recommended. Participation for children from 12 years!

    Guided panoramic mountain-hike across the mountain pastures Feldthurns-Latzfons

    We are accompanied to the charming Feldthurner and Latzfonser Alm mountain pastures with interesting facts about mountain pasture management and insights into the splendour of the flowers. We are rewarded with a marvellous view of the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. There is the opportunity to stop for refreshments at the Klausner hut. Route: From Kühhof via hiking trail no. 13 to the Klausner Hütte, back via trail no. 1. If good weather, we take the longer route via no. 14 + no. 8. Start: 9.30 am Kühhof car park, hiking bus possible, walking time approx. 3,5 hours, moderately difficult hike, height difference 430 m, return at 4.30 pm Kühhof car park. Minimum number of participants: 2 persons. Free of charge for guests of member accommodations, otherwise € 10.00 per person.

    Baking bread at the farm

    ONLY GERMAN AND ITALIAN SPEAKING GUIDES! Baking together traditional bread in a wood-burning oven is fun and not difficult. The farmers demonstrate step by step how to mix all ingredients to form a dough. People are invited to lend a hand, and while the dough rises, they may discover the farm, the garden and the animals such as cows, calves, pigs and rabbits. Finally, the loaves will be baked in a wood-burning oven and, afterwards, tasted together. An interesting and exciting experience for the whole family! Meeting point: Information office in Teis at the Mineral Museum at 9.00 am - half day - also in case of rain The farm is 2 km outside the village. Please register at the office in Teis before you start and then drive to the farm by car or if on foot you should arrive half an hour earlier.     Concert by Music Band Chiusa

    Founded in 1829, the Civic Band of Klausen is one of the most historic wind ensembles in South Tyrol. Despite a forced break during the Fascist period, it has re-established itself as a key cultural institution in the region. Since 2019, the band has once again been under the direction of conductor Paul Bramböck, who skillfully blends traditional Austrian wind music with modern light music. In addition to the main ensemble, the group also includes a Bohemian band and a saxophone quintet. Annual highlights include the Easter Concert and the St. Cecilia Concert in Klausen. With its dedication and musical quality, the band plays an essential role in the cultural life of the region and beyond.

    Experience an unforgettable adventure amidst the breathtaking mountains of the Dolomites and be enchanted by the majestic mountain scenery around the Schlern Rosengarten Nature Park. Tourdescription: After taking the cable car up to the Alpe di Siusi, we start our hike. First we hike towards Panorama and along the slopes of the Goldknopf to the foot of the Rosszahn ridge. The trail climbs steeply in serpentines to the Rosszahnscharte. From there it is only a few minutes to the Tierser Alpl refuge, where we take our lunch break. The way back is via the “Bärenloch”. The path is steep at the beginning, secured in places with wire ropes. Further down, the trail then leads through the Tschamin valley to Weißlahnbad. Meeting point: On bus line 176 with departure time 08:35 in St. Zyprian Walking time: 5-6 hours Ascent: 650 meters Descent: 1300 meters Difficulty: medium With refreshment stop.

    Guided visit of the St. Valentin church (only German & Italian)

    The St. Valentin church surrounded by meadows and fields, with the Schlern massif in the background, the small church of St. Valentin offers a real idyllic scene. The construction is of great historical and artistic value with precious frescos from the 14th and the 15th century. A peculiarity (among others): the painter has tried to include the local landscape as background in its representation of the three Kings. Together with hiking guide Paula we make our way to St. Valentin church (walk approx. 20 minutes). This is followed by a guided tour of the church and then back to Seis.     Hike to the Kuhalm with grey cheese tasting

    An unforgettable mountain experience for gourmets and nature lovers: take the Rosskopf cable car and the panorama lift up to 2,200 m to the legendary wishing bell. Once rung, it carries your wishes over the peaks of the Alps. We then take a leisurely hike to the Telfer Almen and on to the rustic Kuhalm - where you will be treated to a grey cheese tasting.
