This winter, we are excited to once again offer an exclusive ice skating course in collaboration with the talented figure skater Sara Furlan. With her many years of experience and passion for the sport, Sara will inspire you with the fun and beauty of ice skating. The courses are divided by age groups: Children aged 3–5: 16:00–17:00 Children aged 6 and older: 17:00–18:00 Sara recommends attending all the sessions to get the most out of the training. However, if you can only attend a single session, that is also possible. Christmas Celebration on December 20th: As a special highlight, Sara invites you to a small Christmas celebration on December 20th at 5PM. The children will have the opportunity to show their parents what they’ve learned. Afterwards, we will enjoy a festive drink together at the snack stand.

The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. In a valley in which dialect and garb are still alive, it is not unusual that its tradition is thoroughly cultivated. The „Klöckeln“, is a pre-Christian custom practised the first weeks of December and has an old tradition.

A rich programme of organ and orchestra concerts accompanied by the Bolzano Cathedral Choir.

Every Thursday in December, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Laurin Bar comes alive with the long aperitif: classic aperitifs, signature cocktails, a fresh buffet (20 €), and music selected by the live DJ. The event is also open to external guests.

The weekly market in Laives offers a large selection of clothing as well as South Tyrolean specialities such as vegetables, fruit, bread and bacon. Every Thursday from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, you have the opportunity to stroll through the Via Kennedy in the section between the junction with Via Pietralba and the junction with Via Galizia. If Thursday is a public holiday, the market will take place on Wednesday.

What exactly is sustainable winegrowing? During a guided tour through the small vineyard, you learn about the ecology of vineyards. You gain an insight into how wine is produced sustainably, from planting and managing the vineyard to processing the grapes and reaching the final quality of the wine. The guided tour finishes with a wine tasting of Messnerhof wines. Duration: about 1.5 hours. Minimum number of participants: 6.

We set off into Valle di Braies Vecchia by minibus from San Candido and using the snow-covered road towards Prato Piazza we reach the 2000 meters high alpine plateau. From there it’s a short walk to Rifugio Prato Piazza (base camp). There, we put on our snowshoes. Past Swiss pine woods we gently cross the high plateau and climb Monte Specie (2,307 m). A stunning circular view and intense winter fun for relatively small climbing effort. Refreshment stop possible at the end of the hike.

The Perlhof is a small winery run by Max Thurner and his family. It is located in Oberleitach in the St.-Magdalen region. With a lot of manual work and great passion, the grapes are gently processed and wines full of character are produced.

Enjoy the untouched nature and unique views of the surrounding mountain scenery with the majestic "Tribulaun" and the "Weißwandspitze". In the evening, the snow-covered landscape of wintertime Deutschnofen has a magic all its own. The moon and stars make the snowy slopes sparkle – if the sky is cloudy, we simply bring along some torches to light our way during our romantic nighttime stroll. Meeting place: Always at 6:00 p.m. at the Deutschnofen Tourist Agency. The 4-km-long tour involves 200 meters of altitude differential and takes about two hours. At its conclusion, we can warm up in cheerful surroundings with some mulled wine.

The thrill of being the first! Even before the usual opening time, you take the Seceda cabin lift to reach the altitude of 2.500 m, where the first rays of sunshine will dive the Sassolungo Group into a magical light. Together with a ski instructor, you draw the first turns in the freshly groomed slope “La Longia” (10 km) and get some advices to improve your ski technique. Before returning to the valley station, a rich breakfast will be served at the mountain hut Val d’Anna.
