Today, woodcarving extends from sacral to contemporary art. In the compact introductory course, you will try relief carving and learn the basic knowledge of this craft under expert supervision.

With snowshoes to the Seiser Alm: an alpine tour accompanied by a guide of the Catores group takes you from Monte Pana to the largest high plateau in Europe - the Seiser Alm. You start by private bus, and then walk at the foot of the Sassolungo and reaching the Zallinger. Finally, you return with snowshoes or alternatively choosing the sled. On this tour you will be challenged in terms of sport and at the same time you will find inner peace: a treat for body and mind, during which you will be completely in harmony with yourself.

Touching various areas of Ortisei, via Pradac – Juaut – Cudan – Tambres – Vico di Sopra and Costamula you finally reach the Tiscion farm. Experience a magical winter adventure on snowshoes in the Reschensee Holiday Region. Together with a professional guide, you will explore different scenic routes chosen according to weather, snow conditions and hours of sunlight – for example in Langtaufers, Rojen or other beautiful areas around Lake Reschen.

The hike is suitable for beginners and slightly experienced participants and leads through snow-covered forests, open winter landscapes and quiet sunlit paths. Your guide provides safety, regional insights and information about the surrounding nature. A short break or refreshment stop can be included depending on the chosen route.

Group ascent with the Schnalstal Valley Glacier Cable Car to 3,200 metres. We’ll cross the Hochjochferner accompanied by a mountain guide, experience the glacier in all its beauty, and learn many interesting and historical things. At the end of the glacier there is an ice cave at 2,800 m. After exploring the cave and taking a rest in this solitary alpine world, the path continues to the Schöne Aussicht Refuge and afterwards we descend to the Teufelsegghütte Mountain Hut. The Roter Kofel chair lift brings us back to Maso Corto/Kurzras around 3:30 p.m. Walking time: approx. 5-6 hours including breaks Difference in altitude: around 300 m in the ascent and 1,000 m in the descent (about 8 km distance) Number of participants: minimum 2 people (participation from 14 years) Requirement: good physical condition

First, you will gain insight into the seasonal work processes and learn firsthand how the grape makes its way into the bottle. After a tour of the Gothic cellars dating back to the 14th century, various wines will be tasted with the cellar master in the new tasting room. The tour usually lasts 2 hours. For gourmets and connoisseurs: Every Friday, guided tour of the vineyards of the Rametz castle winery in Maia Alta/Merano with a visit to the wine museum and the historic cellar. Come and delve into a real-life wine experience at the bio farm Rielinger. The wine farmer will give you a tour of the vineyard, explaining the different grapes and their cultivation. We cultivate the white wine varieties Blatterle, Müller Thurgau, Kerner and Riesling as well as the red wines Schiava and Zweigelt.

After the vineyard tour you’ll hit the cellar where we show you how the wine is fermented and aged. At the end of the tour of course you may taste our in-house wines.
