Colorful Advent Magic in the Courtyard A day full of light, music, and children's laughter At Klosterbauer in Algund, Steinachstraße 20 Experience a day that warms hearts and delights the senses: enjoy lively music, singing, and thoughtful activities for both young and old. There will be hairdressing sessions, a Christmas story read by Ursula Zeller, creative craft and writing stations for personalized letters to the Christ Child, and the popular Wichtelglück lottery with lovely prizes. Food and drinks are also well taken care of – with delicious treats and warming beverages perfect for a winter day. An Advent afternoon that brings families together – full of warmth, joy, and little magical moments.

At the Tirolerhof Stoodl in St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo, original songs and well-known melodies by Philipp Schwarz, Michael Gufler, Xaver Schwarz, and Diego Gufler will fill the air.

On Monday, December 8, things will get cozy on our panoramic terrace! In keeping with the season, we’ll be serving not only aromatic white wines and characterful reds, but also fragrant, homemade mulled wine – accompanied by delicious winter treats.

From 4:00 to 9:00 PM, enjoy a festive, wintry atmosphere with fine (mulled) wines, hot soups to warm you up, and Panettone & Pandoro. Live music by Acoustic Casals from 5:30 to 8:00 PM will set the perfect mood. So come by, raise a glass with us, and get into the holiday spirit!

On Monday, 8 December, Welsberg will turn into a charming Advent meeting point from 05:00 p.m. onwards. A small Christmas market featuring selected local handicrafts offers special gift ideas, while warm drinks and hearty dishes create a cozy atmosphere. The “Glumpatwichtel” adds a cheerful touch. Participants may bring a “glumpat gift” – an item no longer needed – nicely wrapped to keep the surprise. On site, the gift is handed in, a ticket is drawn, and the glumpat gifts are then raffled among the attendees. A joyful addition to the Advent season and a moment filled with small surprises.

Seis am Schlern is getting ready for a magical Advent and Christmas season!

In addition to the ice rink in the village square with skate rentals, there will be fascinating magic and fire shows, great live bands, contemplative Advent concerts, and atmospheric Christmas stories, providing a varied program. A winter experience for young and old alike!

An easy route, suitable for everyone, leads first to the picturesque Vallunga, where just before the St. Sylvester’s Chapel branches off a Way of the Cross, which leads to the sunny area of Daunëi. Here the view is very postcard-like: you can admire the village of Selva di Val Gardena with its slopes and the huge Sella massif. Afterwards, a tasting of homemade cheese takes place at the Valin farm: delicious and local.

Strolling through Ortisei is like traveling through time. Publishing houses and workshops offer a glimpse into the former wooden toy industry – and historic inns and hotels trace the valley’s transformation from a dream destination for alpinists to a popular year-round tourist hotspot.
You can embark on this journey through time in Ortisei with the help of a knowledgeable guide. The tour, offered in English, German or Italian depending on the participants, lasts 1.5 hours and is suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
