During Alm Advent, the Fane Alm transform into a cozy place filled with festive anticipation on all Advent Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors can look forward to mulled wine, South Tyrolean specialties, a lovingly designed children’s program with crafting and storytelling, as well as stalls offering homemade products.

Each Advent Sunday features its own special highlight:

On the 1st Sunday of Advent (30/11/2025), an alpine devotion takes place at 2 pm, accompanied by a four-part choir and then the brass ensemble of the Valles music band.

On the 2nd Sunday of Advent (07/12/2025), St. Nicholas visits the hut at 2 pm, with musical accompaniment by the Terento men’s choir.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent (14/12/2025), the brass ensemble of the Rodeneck music band provides contemplative music.

The 4th Sunday of Advent (21/12/2025) is accompanied musically by Thomas Mahlknecht and Johannes Oberhofer

For the first time in Selva, during the Mountain Christmas market, the Selva Theatre Group will present an enchanting Living Nativity. In a festive atmosphere filled with lights and traditions, actors in period costumes will bring the characters of the Nativity story to life, offering visitors a touching and engaging experience. The event enriches the market’s programme, adding warmth, community spirit, and authenticity to the Christmas magic of Val Gardena.

The Clocks blends retro-pop charm with a fresh, youthful voice. The act draws inspiration from classic hits of the 1960s and 70s – including the Beatles era – reinterpreted with a warm, contemporary sound. A heartfelt live experience for anyone who enjoys timeless melodies and a hint of nostalgia.

We set out together to discover the Christmas story at various locations, starting from the church and ending at the Antonius Chapel.

The Christmas stories will be told in German.

An unusual assignment from God, seven overwhelmed angels, and seven surprised shepherds – and right in the middle, a talking, shining star. This is how a humorous nativity play begins, showing the birth of Jesus “behind the scenes.”
Because the prophets announced Christ’s arrival imprecisely, nothing is prepared: the schedule doesn’t fit, and the angels have to improvise. The result is a lively and warm-hearted chaos – with angels organizing frantically, shepherds barely able to believe what’s happening, and a star trying to keep everyone on track.

The event will take place only in German.

In preparation for Christmas, the Schola Gregoriana Bauzanesis, under the direction of Maria Carmen Pectu, presents a solemn concert of Gregorian chant in the evocative setting of the Franciscan Church in Bolzano. The program features some of the most significant melodies of the Advent and Christmas liturgy: from invitatories and traditional hymns to Marian antiphons, from responsorial graduals to the introits of festive Masses. Each piece, performed with fidelity to the Gregorian tradition, guides the listener on a spiritual and musical journey culminating in the joy of the Nativity. A unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the depth and purity of a centuries-old repertoire, blending devotion and musical beauty to create an atmosphere of contemplation and celebration.

The Towau-Brass group of the Dobbiaco/Toblach Music Band will provide musical accompaniment at the Christmas market from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Look forward to an evening full of beautiful music!

The Percha music band invites you to moments of reflection, touching music and to enjoy mulled wine and tea afterwards.

Christmas charity concert in the Parish Church of Welsberg. In the atmospheric setting of the church, traditional and contemplative musical contributions create a reflective mood for the Christmas season. Performers include Geschwister Hintner, Singa Quartettl Sexten, Brixner Weisenbläser and Quetschholz. The connecting texts of the evening are by Georg Paul Aichner. The concert offers a musical moment of calm and reflection during Advent. Voluntary donations will be donated to Krebshilfe Hochpustertal.

She was born in Bolzano and grew up in Selva di Val Gardena. She obtained her diploma in singing with honours. In 2001, she won the As.Li.Co competition in Milan. She has performed more than 25 leading roles in a wide range of classical and contemporary operas and has appeared on stage in Italy and abroad with internationally renowned conductors.
Sabina Willeit is deeply dedicated to art song and regularly performs as a soloist with orchestra.

Piano

Giorgio Fasciolo is a versatile musician who, over many years of research, has developed concert programmes in which music and text are closely intertwined. As a pianist, he has performed the most famous song cycles; as an organist, he has presented the complete works of J. S. Bach. Giorgio Fasciolo is active not only as a soloist, but also as a composer and conductor.
