We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday, December 13th at 5:00 PM in the Kassetten hall of Maria Heim for a wonderful evening with the Duo Granato and The Rite Duo (Cristian Battaglioli Fiocca, Stefano Visintainer, and Marco Rinaudo), dedicated to chamber music for saxophone and piano.
The two ensembles will perform various pieces from their chamber music repertoire!

A complimentary aperitif will be offered to all attendees afterwards.

Experience an exceptional culinary event at the Schönebenhütte: at Taste the Peak, top South Tyrolean wineries meet creative cuisine and uplifting music.

Our special guest, chef Thomas Ortler, will prepare refined appetizers and main courses together with the Schöneben team. A selection of wines from South Tyrolean producers will be served – perfect for everyone who appreciates flavour and regional quality.

Musical highlights come from Markus Gimbel and David Frank, and the evening continues with an afterparty at Sciuri by the valley station.

The nativity scene will be set up in Oberrasen before the third Sunday of Advent. To mark the occasion, the volunteer fire brigade invites you to enjoy some mulled wine!

The Coppa Italia Cross-Country Skiing event is coming to Schlinig this winter! The competition will take place from December 13th to December 14th, 2025, at the Schlinig Cross-Country Ski Centre. Sat, 13.12.2025 – Prologue Free Technique 2.5 / 3.3 km Sun, 14.12.2025 – Pursuit Classic 7.5 / 10 km All participants who want to qualify for the European Cup will take part in this race. Around 200 athletes will take part in these races. All sports fans are of course welcome to come and watch!

On December 13th and 14th, Schlanders transforms into a sparkling Christmas village full of lights, joy, and pre-Christmas atmosphere. The annual Christmas market will also take place.

Hobby artists and craftsmen from Vinschgau, as well as local and Italian producers, will offer handmade gift ideas, traditional crafts, and local products.

A special highlight: "Spielvolk"!
The magically glowing figures on stilts bring Christmas magic directly to the streets of Schlanders with their imaginative performance, enchanting both young and old – an experience you shouldn’t miss!

In addition, many exciting activities await you:
a craft workshop at the base location, fairy tale storytelling at Damml, and a Christmas picture treasure hunt (starting December 9th), where you can collect your reward on Sunday from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the village square.

Shops in Schlanders will also be open on Saturday and Sunday, both in the morning and afternoon – perfect for festive Christmas shopping accompanied by Christmas lights and sounds.

In the football building in Welsberg, Herbert Gitzl presents his handcrafted nativity scenes. The exhibition is open from 05:00 pm to 08:00 pm and offers mulled wine and Christmas treats for a cosy Advent evening.

Some crib friends of San Genesio organize a crib exhibition in San Genesio.

Coppa Italia at the Grogg Biathlon Centre in Martelltal. A sprint race will be held on Saturday, 13 December 2025, and a pursuit race on Sunday, 14 December 2025. Approximately 180 athletes from all over Italy will compete. Start times are yet to be announced.

Wine and art are playing a very important role at the Eberlehof winery. After visiting the vineyards, there’s a tour through the winery, where you can have a peek at the wine cellar and the wine production process. Locally produced products simply taste better!
Fresh vegetables and fruits, eggs, spices, cheese, honey, wine, juice….and many more quality products cultivated and produced in Kaltern are being sold from 8 am to noon on the Square of the town. Come by and experience the taste of nature.
All these products have been produced and are being sold by the local farmers themselves.
In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.

International speed skating championship on the Ice Rink of the Ritten Arena in Klobenstein, free entry. "The ice rink in Klobenstein is the fastest outdoor track in the world. However, it’s not only the fast ice but also the ideal altitude, beautiful panorama, and warm South Tyrolean hospitality that make the Ritten Arena a highly regarded training center and competition venue for the world’s top speed skaters."

The people of Mühlen ring in Advent with the Kothreinemorscht and turn Mühlen into a Kothrein village. With a cozy wooden fence in the village center, where you can get snacks from the grill, from the pan, from the stove. There are also hot and cold drinks. Open fire, cozy company. Every now and then an interlude, for example with the “Klöcklnachtsinger”, with a brick organ player, with steaming “Melchamuis”. The living nativity scene is also a must.
