After a short refreshment, the hike continues following a path until you arrive to the clearing Plan dala Sia. The Demetz family has been breeding 40 alpacas, known for their high-quality wool products, since the year 2000. At the beginning of the “Triech” ascent, you can spot a second, hidden waterfall. Daily between 10 a.m. -4 p.m. you can visit the mountain pine oil distillery on the Barbianer Alm on the hiking trail no. 15 along the Südtiroler Himmelstour/Cieloronda. Walking time from the mountain station Schwarzseespitze at the Rittner Horn approx. 1.5 hours. Language: German & Italian. You take the cable car Rittner Horn to the Schwarzseespitze. Fresh mountain air and a wonderful panorama await you there. The hike leads over the blooming alpine meadows to the Barbianer Alm. There is the rustic mountain pine oil distillery, where the owner Meinrad Rabensteiner gives an insight into the traditional production of mountain pine and pine oil. The organic product is produced in harmony with nature, fresh needles and twig tips of the mountain pine are collected in summer and processed in a gentle way. Discover the train station! The entertainment train station at Naturno/Stava is the old train station of the Val Senales. It shows an electric train on an 800 m track, an original steam engine locomotive Waldenburg Switzerland, a tank engine locomotive, and two wagons of the Rhaetic train. OPENING TEMPORARY EXHIBITION: 12/07/2025 My wife and I were expecting the birth of our daughter in 2021, the year my book MASSIV was published. During this time, I felt a growing desire to send a strong message about the protection of the Alps. That‘s why I donated all of the proceeds from the book – over 100,000 euros – to projects aimed at preserving our mountains. I didn‘t want to have to explain to my daughter later that I had stood by and done nothing while our Alps were under threat. Shortly before the book was published, I also made a short film called "A letter to my daughter" – a personal, hopeful letter to my unborn child.

Since its founding in 1900, the "Posaunenchor" has shaped the musical identity of the Evangelical Parish of Hilgen-Neuenhaus in Wermelskirchen, located in the heart of the Bergisches Land. The name "Trombone Choir" is somewhat misleading, as the approximately 40 musicians of various age groups have always performed in a symphonic wind orchestra formation – including woodwinds, brass instruments, and percussion. Originally founded to accompany church services musically, the orchestra continues to make a significant contribution to the cultural life of the parish. Today, the musicians are particularly known for performing entertaining wind music at concerts, events, and public occasions. Since 2003, the concert series "Swing & More" has thrilled audiences with its unique blend of vocals, big band, and orchestral sound. Under this title, the group has performed numerous times – not only within their hometown of Wermelskirchen but also abroad in European countries such as the Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, and Kosovo, as well as on two concert tours in Brazil. A rhythm section with guitar, piano, and bass has since become a permanent part of the ensemble. At concerts, the orchestra is often joined by various vocal soloists, resulting in a versatile sound body that allows for a wide musical range – from traditional wind music to big band jazz, rock, and pop. In 1982, Peter Rinne – a well-known and multifaceted musician, composer, and trained conductor in the Bergisches Land – took over the musical direction. Since 1999, Patrick Mühlhausen has been providing custom musical arrangements tailored to the ensemble. The concert repertoire is continuously expanded with new pieces and is very popular with audiences.

Your adventure week on the 3 Countries Enduro Trails! The main part of this week is spent exploring the region on the bike. Trained guides teach boys and girls aged 11 to 15 many tips and tricks in open terrain and on single trails. Among other things, trail basics such as balancing correctly, braking, riding on and over steps, climbing and descending, etc. are refined during this week and what is learned is put into practice on the 3 Länder Enduro Trails. In addition to the 3 country enduro trails, you can expect other great activities such as a first aid course, trail building and a bike workshop.

Ice hockey ist not just a game of skating and shooting… it is much more a game of quick decisions. That is exactly why we created the Edges, Decision Making & Goal Scoring Camp, where we will work on the decision making ability of our players, because we think that it is the utimate skill to master the game of hockey. After a few sessions of edgework to strengthen our stability, we will go into very specific decision making drills where we will challenge our players to make every decision quicker, in order to gain the edge over their competitors during that split second that decides upon victory or defeat. Whether it is left or right, passing or shooting, the right answer does not wait. And that is why the best technique is worthless, if it is not used at the right time.

They play an important role in the social life of the village and give many young people the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents. Enjoy a relaxing summer evening in the show garden at the Farm Botenhof in the Pflersch Valley, right in the heart of the Wipptal Herb Gardens. The leisurely circular hike starts at the large Saltnerstein parking area and leads you to the mountain pine distillery at the Marzuner Schupfe. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the Dolomites amidst the vast expanse of the alp. The lunch break takes place alternately in one of the hospitable alpine huts. The Gong Bath Sound is a sound massage and therapy that brings the participants to meditation and deep relaxation. During the Gong Bath you lie comfortably on the meadow in the middle of the nature and listen to the magic and harmonious sounds of several gongs, Himalayan singing bowls and many other instruments. At the 'Bauer am Stein' farm in Foiana 70 goats white goats stretch out towards you, waiting to be stroked. Farmer Karin explains how these lively ruminants are fed, milked and cared for. As true gourmets they prefer to eat fresh grass and leaves, but they also get some tasty snacks made especially for them. After the birth of the first kid, the mother goat gives milk. She is milked twice a day and, unlike cows, has an cows, she has an udder with only two teats. If you want, you can taste the milk, also called 'white gold'. When walking in nature with your eyes open, you will find lots of materials that can be used to create surprising things. In the small workshop in the centre of Ortisei, pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones, and other natural materials are used to build small works of art together with the children. Thanks to this workshop with the Nature Park Ranger the creations can be taken home and remind even after the holidays what great things can be made with such simple materials and a little imagination. - Founded in 1978, the Puez-Geisler / Puez-Odle Nature Park extends to Würzjoch / Passo delle Erbe in the north, Grödner Joch / Passo Gardena in the south, Gadertal / Val Badia valley (Kampill, Untermoj / Longiarü, Antermöia) in the east and Villnößtal / Val di Funes and Grödntal / Val Gardena in the west. The northern portion of the park encompasses Aferer / Odle di Eores, Villnösser Geisler / Odle di Funes and Peitlerkofel / Sas da Pütia, while the southern portion encompasses the highlands of Gherdenacia, Sassongher, Puez (including Langental / Vallunga) and the Cir mountains. The park was enlarged in 1999 and now extends over an area of around 10,722 hectares belonging to the villages of Abtei / Badia, Corvara, Villnöss / Funes, St.Martin in Thurn / S. The park’s karstic highlands, majestic rock faces, rolling Alpine pastures set off against bizarre looking backdrops of cleft mountains, valleys formed by extreme erosion, and dark coniferous forests comprise a multifarious landscape that is rarely found in such a small area.
