Sonja will provide you with information about the South Tyrolean Alpine apple, variety overview, cultivation methods, field work, processing, and marketing. You can expect a tasting of apples and apple juice from a local producer, along with a short walk through nearby orchards. Duration is approximately 1.5 hours. A minimum of 4 participants is required. Meeting point is directly at the Kalterer Moos farm No. 16, Pomaria Court, after the Moos Bar (gas station towards Auer) 20 meters. Back to the origin: guided hike with tasting

Lajen/Laion

Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. Guided tours always take place on Thursdays at 04:00 p.m. Also possible on other days on request. Only with advance reservation.

Where exactly does private property begin and where does public space begin? Is the border a visible fence or an invisible line? What features define public and private space, and how do they influence our everyday experience? Photographer Lukas Felder from Lana takes his camera on a visual exploration tour through the market town and explores these questions. His photographic walk is not only a documentary investigation, but also an invitation to look at the familiar surroundings from a new, critical perspective. The results of his photographic research can be seen at a specially constructed fake building site on Hofmannplatz. The installation playfully questions the boundaries between reality and staging and invites us to rethink public space.
