A grand and spectacular concert with orchestra, choirs, and opera soloists, designed for the Christmas season. The program includes opera, Christmas songs, and some of the most beloved and well-known Italian and international hits by great composers such as Corelli, Bach, Handel, Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, and others.
The show is an intimate and moving experience, where the audience fully immerses themselves in the magic of Christmas.

The Vokal- und Instrumentalensemble Amaté, together with the young soloists of the Merano Academy 2025, will perform Christmas works that celebrate joy, reflection, and the magic of the Advent season. Under the direction of Richard J. Sigmund, the music creates moments to pause, be carried away, and leave the everyday behind for a while.

The concert takes place in the Kapuzinerkirche Merano, a historic and intimate space whose warm acoustics gently carry the sound, making the music even more moving and immersive.

A cozy 2nd Advent Sunday in St. Martin/S. Martino: enjoy the winter atmosphere, mulled wine, punch, small treats, and atmospheric music with the Megachour.

Advent songs with the Niederdorf church choir, contemplative texts, and Advent music with the Semestertrio.

The Immanuel Mission Choir was founded in Milan in 1989 by a group of Korean singing students in Italy to spread the message of peace and hope of Jesus Christ, especially to those in need. Several have participated in international singing events, winning numerous awards. In 36 years, it has made several missionary tours in Asia, Africa, and Europe. Free Entry

Course of the "Rostnboch Tuifl" in the historical center of Caldaro beginning at 6pm.

The Bravo Zulu Blues Band returns this year to bring its unmistakable sound to the streets of Bolzano once again. Continuing a long-standing tradition that has animated and enriched the city for many years, the band will offer the public completely free musical moments, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere.

The first performance will take place on December 7, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Piazzetta Walter Park, at the entrance area from Via Alto Adige, across from the Gunther ice cream shop.

On Sunday, December 7, the church square in Pfelders/Plan will be transformed into a festive place full of pre-Christmas atmosphere.

From 4 pm, the celebration begins with musical accompaniment by the Bohemian music of Pfelderer/Plan, whose Christmas melodies create a cozy atmosphere.

At 5 pm, St. Nicholas arrives to greet the children.

Around 6 pm, the spectacular performance by the "Spronser Tuifl" follows, whose “hellish” show will leave everyone amazed.

Food and drinks are well provided – warm beverages, tasty snacks, and good company invite you to linger.

The celebration is organized by AVS Pfelders/Plan with support from the youth of Pfelders/Plan, altar servers, and local farmers.

St. Nicholas & Krampus Parade in Mühlbach – 7 December

On 7 December, Mühlbach transforms into a magical Advent setting!

Starting at 3:00 p.m., enjoy a warm and festive Advent atmosphere at the town hall square, perfect for getting into the Christmas spirit.

At 5:00 p.m., the big St. Nicholas & Krampus parade begins:
the procession will start at the train station and move along Katharina-Lanz Street until it reaches the church square.

The groups Hollintoul Teifl, T’schän Teifl Lodin, and Ronegga Teifl will be there with impressive masks, striking characters, and plenty of action.

Angelo Pintus is an Italian comedian well known for his energetic style of humor and hilarious performances. He was born on May 21, 1975, in Trieste, Italy. Pintus has gained great popularity through his theatrical performances, later broadcast on TV and platforms, and his participation in successful television programs. The Italian comedian has been able to build a solid career in the Italian comedy scene, winning over theater audiences with his charisma, likability, and undisputed talent for improvising and entertaining.

Christmas as it used to be: the Mountain Advent in Trodena brings back the true spirit of Christmas: alpine traditions, ancient customs, and moments of reflection. Far from the hustle and bustle, the winding alleys and old cellars of the village center turn into a magical Advent setting: the market with a petting zoo, handmade crafts, traditional skills, and Grandpa’s Christmas workshop. Highlights also include the Krampus parade and concerts in the village church. In December 2025, the beloved Advent market will once again enchant visitors in the picturesque alleys and rustic cellars of Trodena.

On this special guided tour, we will immerse ourselves in the rich world of traditions and stories surrounding Advent and Christmas in Brixen. Amid sweet delicacies, enchanting scents, and sparkling lights, we will meet fascinating protagonists of this festive season. At the same time, we will explore some of the city’s unique highlights, including the majestic White Tower. The tour concludes atmospherically with a glass of mulled wine at the Christmas Market. During Alm Advent, the Fane Alm transform into a cozy place filled with festive anticipation on all Advent Sundays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Visitors can look forward to mulled wine, South Tyrolean specialties, a lovingly designed children’s program with crafting and storytelling, as well as stalls offering homemade products.

Each Advent Sunday features its own special highlight:

On the 1st Sunday of Advent (30/11/2025), an alpine devotion takes place at 2 pm, accompanied by a four-part choir and then the brass ensemble of the Valles music band.

On the 2nd Sunday of Advent (07/12/2025), St. Nicholas visits the hut at 2 pm, with musical accompaniment by the Terento men’s choir.

On the 3rd Sunday of Advent (14/12/2025), the brass ensemble of the Rodeneck music band provides contemplative music.

The 4th Sunday of Advent (21/12/2025) is accompanied musically by Thomas Mahlknecht and Johannes Oberhofer

A heartwarming Advent experience for young and old alike!

For the first time in Selva, during the Mountain Christmas market, the Selva Theatre Group will present an enchanting Living Nativity. In a festive atmosphere filled with lights and traditions, actors in period costumes will bring the characters of the Nativity story to life, offering visitors a touching and engaging experience. The event enriches the market’s programme, adding warmth, community spirit, and authenticity to the Christmas magic of Val Gardena.

Pre-Christmas Events in Terento.
We want to bring children, families and guests closer to rural culture and traditions on the topic of Christmas. The trail leads from the decorated village centre to the town hall with cookie baking for children, to the crib exhibition and to the Christmas market. Handicraft products are offered at different stalls on the playground. The Christmas experience continues along the trail lit by torchlights and candlelight with special light effects to the "Stockner Waldile" forest, where rural specialities are offered in traditional huts. Fairytales and stories for children are told around the campfire in front of a big Christmas crib and a petting zoo.

The “Tina Modotti” Photographic Circle exhibition explores South Tyrol’s contemporary identity through photography as a tool for critical inquiry and visual storytelling.

In a region of constant change—between center and periphery, tourism and daily life, tradition and transformation—photography becomes a language for analyzing social, symbolic, and identity perspectives.

The exhibition follows a Gestalt-inspired approach: “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.” Individual projects form a collective mosaic, maintaining their autonomy while engaging in dialogue.

The exhibition maps South Tyrol along three trajectories: city, tourism, and tradition.

“City between Center and Periphery”: urban spaces as living organisms, balancing history, social change, and architecture.

“Tourism: Between Overtourism and Sustainability”: critical exploration of tourism’s impact on landscapes, consumption, and sustainable development.

“Traditions, Folk Festivals, and Rituals”: an empathetic, anthropological view of collective rituals sustaining identity and cultural memory.

Together, the three trajectories form a layered visual narrative of South Tyrol, highlighting photography as a language capable of expressing complexity and contemporary reality.
