The Grohmann hut (Italian Rifugio Vedretta Piana) is located in South Tyrol in the upper Ridnauntal near the Austrian border.

The refuge Tierser Alpl is situated on the saddle of the same name, a place where all paths seem to cross. On the way from the Schlern to the Lang- and Plattkofel, from the Seiser Alm to the Rosengarten, you’ll always pass this spot.

The Malga Laranzer Schwaige is situated in 1925 m at Saltria near the station on top of the Floralpina skilift. The Hans & Paula Steger Path, which leads you from Compatsch via meadow and alpine places to Saltria, passes directly the Malga Laranzer Schwaige. The panoramic view to Saltria, the Lang- and Plattkofel and the mountains of Val Gardena is wonderful!

From the “Panorama” restaurant, trail no. 22 leads up to the Angerer Alm, which can be reached in about 45 minutes. The forest road covers around 400 metres of elevation gain, and at the top you can reward yourself with regional dishes and delicious desserts. The starting point is accessible by Citybus 435.1 – simply get off at the “Olang, Abzweigung Panorama” stop and follow the trail signs. By bike, the alpine hut is easily reached from the Children’s World via trail no. 22.

The Melager Alm is an idyllic hiking destination. Easy access to easy forest paths. Ideal for families with children as the hiking trail can also be done with the baby carriage. On the Melager Alm guests will be spoiled with regional delicacies.

The Cason Hut on Resciesa is a charming mountain hut in the Dolomites, just five minutes away from the top station of the Resciesa funicular. It offers breathtaking views and is an ideal starting point for leisurely hikes, also suitable for families. The hut delights its guests with traditional specialties and homemade products.

Built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena. It’s located on the sunny side in the middle of the Nature Park Puez-Odle with a stunning view on the Sassolungo and on the Odle mountains. The Rifugio Firenze was built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena by the German-Austrian Alpine Club (DÖAV Regensburg). When in 1921, with the end of the First World War, South Tyrol was given to Italy, the administration of the hut was transferred to the CAI of Florence, which renamed it "Rifugio Firenze". In 2010, after almost 90 years in hands of CAI Florence, the hut was entrusted to the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, which still owns it. Open in summer from 1st June until mid of October

We are wild and free – we love variety. We want to make wild o’williams into a destination – a hot hut at the heart of the South Tyrolean highlands. We offer fine Italian cuisine, typical South Tyrolean specialties and a variety of drinks list. In the morning we serve the guests a rich breakfast buffet. At noon they are a long range of pasta dishes, fine soups and hearty meat dishes to choose from. In the evening our chef spoils you with delicious healthy vegetables from the salad buffet menus and desserts.

Starting point: valley head Ridanna – Masseria (1.417m) The starting point for this hike is the valley head of Ridanna. Follow the trail no. 28 over a wide path, past the ore processing facility of the mine. The signs to the Stadlalm lead through the beautiful forest of the Lazzacher valley. At the fork turn right to the mountain pasture Stadlalm. Alternative 1: reachable also over the nature trail of the Mining Museum. Alternative 2: circuit cross the panoramic platform Hoher Nock with a 360° panorama view

From the valley head Ridanna follow path no. 9 through the forest and along the Fernerbach moderately steep up to the Aglsboden, then stronger ascending to the refuge Grohmannhütte (2.254m) and steep up to the refuge Teplitzer Hütte.

Edelrauthütte at the Eisbruggjoch between the Pfunderer and Lappacher valley. Romantic starting point to the highest peaks of the Zillertaler Alps and earthy rest station on isolated height ways. Throughout warm kitchen. Open from the beginnings of June to the beginnings of October. You can reach the Edelrauthütte in 3,5 hours from the parking Dun.

Easily accessible on foot – approx. 40 minutes from the arrival of the Col Rodella cablecar, or 1 hour and 15 minutes from Passo Sella Joch – the Sandro Pertini Refuge is an ideal destination for a hike with the family. The refuge is located in a green meadow and offers the perfect resting spot along the Sassolungo/Langkofel route. It is also at the crossroads of a number of trails to and from the Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel, Alpe di Siusi/Seiseralm, Duron Valley, Antermoia Catinaccio/Rosengarten, Dolomites Gardena/Grödner Dolomiten, including protected paths (Schuster) and high altitude hikes (Via Normale della Punta Grohmann/Grohmannspitze, Via Dimai, Via Harrer, Via Normale al Dente del Sassolungo/Zahnkofel, Cima Dantersass, etc.). The refuge, named in memory of President of the Italian Republic, Sandro Pertini, offers refreshments (restaurant and bar) and the possibility to reserve an overnight stay.
