With a length of 17.7 kilometres and a difference in altitude of 950 metres, the course can be mastered by all reasonably prepared athletes. You too can take part! MOUNTAIN TRAIL STAFFEL - 8 KM / 9,7 KM You’re a team player and you love to run in company? Then the team relay of this year’s Ratischngs Mountain Trail gives you the perfect opportunity. Get your running buddy and have fun preparing our two-man team relay. SKY TRAIL - 27,0 KM/1.610 HM If you are looking for a challenge, then the Ratschings Sky Trail is just right for you. The Ratschings Sky Trail is 27 kilometres long and involves not only 1610 metres of ascent and 1050 metres of descent, but also crossing the Jaufen Pass.

The Red Bull X-Alps is the world’s toughest adventure race. It’s a fiercely contested battle across the Alps lasting almost two weeks in which around 30 athletes run, hike and fly by paraglider up to 150km a day passing set Turnpoints positioned across iconic mountains and famous resorts. With athletes often hiking up to 4,000m of vertical ascent a day and running as much as 100km on foot, it’s not only an incredible test of physical endurance but it has become recognized as the supreme test for the world’s best hike-and-fly athletes. Also this year Sexten will be partner with its turnpoint at the valley station of the cable car Helmjet Sexten. Majestic Bearded vultures breed in special places of the Stelvio National Park. If new broods successfully come up again this year, fledglings can be observed on their first flight attempts during guided tours with National Park Rangers. After a short refreshment, the hike continues following a path until you arrive to the clearing Plan dala Sia. The Demetz family has been breeding 40 alpacas, known for their high-quality wool products, since the year 2000. At the beginning of the “Triech” ascent, you can spot a second, hidden waterfall. How it works: Create a picture based on the theme “Hike & Fly” – show us your vision of this mountain adventure, with hiking and flying. In the mood for nature? This summer we invite all science and nature enthusiasts between the ages of 7 and 11 to the Museum! For nature-loving children who are eager to spend their holiday among research, discoveries and experiments, while also visiting the Planetarium. Every day from 8 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., children will be accompanied on their adventures by two guides from the Natural Science Museum. There will be activities both at the Natural Science Museum and excursions, including a morning at the South Tyrol Planetarium in San Valentino in Campo (Gummer). The walk leads along the forest path at the Haunold/Baranci valley station in direction of Toblach/Dobbiaco to the source of the Drau/Drava river. From there past the shooting range to the Baumonna farm, where the new bunker museum will be visited. From the Schermoos car park, we hike along the European long-distance hiking trail (E5) to the Möltner Joch, continuing along a pleasant path through sparse larch forest to the Möltner Kaser. Here we follow the path to the famous hilltop with the Stoanernen Mandln and impressive views of the Dolomites. This legendary cult site is characterised by countless cairns, some of which are as tall as a man. We return to the Möltner Kaser, where we stop for a bite to eat and then descend via the Jenesiener Jöchl to the starting point. On this meditative hike, we combine gentle movement with inner alignment, consciously breathing in the gifts of the clear mountain air, and releasing what no longer serves us. For me, personal growth means becoming aware of how we feel, what strengthens us – and where we want to go. As part of the Red Bull X-Alps 2025, the Schenna Tourist Association is offering this guided tour at a special price. The highlight: You decide how you return to the valley! By cable car – relaxed and comfortable, or with a tandem flight – a unique experience in the air! When you register, please indicate whether you prefer to return by cable car or tandem flight. Participants who choose the tandem flight will be contacted by Tandemclub Ifinger after registration to arrange the details and finalize the booking. Ferrata info: The 550-meter elevation gain, secured with 1000 meters of steel cable, has a moderate difficulty level (A - B - B/C), making it suitable for less experienced climbers or families with children aged 14 and above who enjoy hiking and climbing! A good overall fitness level and an early start are essential to tackle the Klettersteig. The path is fully secured with steel cables, and many steep and difficult sections have been eased with footholds. However, the final section of the via ferrata, the so-called "Engelskante", is a truly impressive rock passage. Climbing time: 3 - 4 hours Return time: approx. 4:00 PM
