Experience the nature park in Ötzi's footsteps The children hike with the nature park rangers from the Vernagt meeting point into the Tisental valley in the Texel Group Nature Park. This is where Ötzi, the famous glacier man, travelled 5,300 years ago. We will look for traces of animals that are characteristic of the forest and mountain areas and try to observe them with binoculars. We will identify plants, herbs and minerals and consider what this area might have looked like around 5,000 years ago. A playful and exciting search for answers can begin! The ranger days are aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12 and participation is free of charge!

The concerts will take place on the main square in Burgeis, framed by the picturesque backdrop of the old houses of Burgeis. The Burgeis music band will also be serving drinks! Ride the chairlift up to the Haunold/Baranci. From there we go in search of the giant Haunold and can explore his kingdom at various stations. The hike then continues across the Schmiedelwiesen to the Wildbad and its various water sources. In the tranquillity of nature we learn many secrets of the forest as well as various forms of relaxation such as walking barefoot, treading water and relaxation exercises. Early in the morning, we set off with Margareth on a sunrise hike. Meeting point is at the large hiking map near the Gasserhütte – from there we begin our walk to reach the Toten Kirchl in time for sunrise. At the top, a peaceful and impressive atmosphere awaits, with wide views over the Villanderer Alm and the surrounding mountains. After hiking back down, we’ll enjoy a relaxed breakfast together at a mountain hut. A start to the day that’s well worth it – for anyone who enjoys experiencing nature at its quietest and most beautiful.

The LanAntiqua Festival, organised by the LanAntiqua Association, aims to give "early music", which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration, its deserved place in the cultural life of Lana. This music, which is not limited to any epoch, covers the periods from the Middle Ages to Romanticism. The festival's highest maxim is: original sound, i.e. the performance of the music in an appropriate sound setting on instruments of the period and with the knowledge gained from the historical performance practice handed down in treatises. Thanks to imposing venues such as the church Maria Himmelfahrt in Niederlana with its impressive altar by Hans Schnatterpeck and its special acoustics, top-class concert enjoyment is pre-programmed.

A tribute to the “Rocket Man”

The Elton Show is a celebration of Elton John’s greatest hits performed by international singer-songwriter C.J. Marvin.

For millions of us, Elton’s Grammy-award winning songs have formed a part of the soundtrack of our lives over the changing decades. Together with his flamboyant style and dynamic performances, he has become a legend in the world of pop music.

The show covers 4 decades of incredible music, from the 70’s up to the present day, featuring many of Elton’s greatest hits; from the timeless Your Song and rockers like SaturdayNight’s All Right for Fighting , through I’m Still Standing and Can you feel the love tonight? , to the latest tunes from The Captain & the Kid hit album.

The Elton Show captures the essence of Elton John and together with his live band and backing singers, when C.J. sings you would think it was Elton himself!

Back in 1984 C.J. was personally invited to Elton’s Milan shows at the Teatro-Tenda Palatrussardi. Whilst waiting for the limousines in the hotel lobby together with Elton & the Band, C.J. sat down at the grand piano and started playing around with bits and pieces of some of Elton’s songs. After hearing the young C.J. Marvin’s impromptu performance, Elton remarked: “You are the best me I ever heard!”

The Elton Show is a spectacularly entertaining evening and an affectionate salute to the music and energy of the Rocket Man.

Every year at midsummer the witches dance at the Passo delle Erbe and spread a feeling of magic. The so called wizards accompany all the spectators up to the foot of the Sas de Pütia, where the wiches dance and are up to mischief. There are also old farmers’ traditions, stories, songs, fun and action for kids and gastronomical delicacies

It is said that long ago, witches and wizards gathered beneath the walls of “Pütia” to dance around the fire, share ancient tales, genuine flavors, and forgotten knowledge. We invite you to relive this unique experience, where traditions, myths, and legends intertwine in an enchanted atmosphere. The event will begin in the early afternoon and continue until dawn, with dances, melodies, and the charm of a night ruled by the stars. Awaiting you will be witches and wizards, games and activities for children, a good glass of wine to warm the spirit, and a delicious hot meal… and much more! Let's celebrate the power of dance and the magic of movement together! With an event that is unique for Bolzano – and even for Italy. Inspired by the famous 1 km de danse of the Centre National de la Danse in France, ExtraDanza will spread as a joyful wave on the banks of the Talvera/Talfer, creating a mosaic of movement, emotion and color. Dancers, interested people, dance enthusiasts and passers-by as well as teachers and workshop participants are invited to celebrate the diversity of dance and dance styles in all its facets on this open-air stage. Three stations invite you on a journey through the languages of dance: some styles such as Lindy Hop, Pop, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern Taylor or Flamenco will be presented, enriched by inputs from the local dance scenes. This celebration of dance concludes with a stunning performance. Let's be inspired by the vibe of this day!
