Our adventure begins in the Visitor Centre! During a short guided tour we will discover the Dolomites. How did they form? Is it true that they used to be in the sea? What will they become in the future? Why are they so special? How many things are there to learn about these fascinating mountains! And then everyone out! Our adventure continues with an excursion to Lake Toblach. During this hike we can immerse ourselves deeply in nature and learn a lot about it. What are plecoptera larvae? What does their presence indicate? Which animals live in the forest? Do carnivorous plants also exist in the mountains? Many topics will be covered. Each participant will be given an observation magnifier, do you know it? These are useful jars with a magnifying glass on the lid, an indispensable tool for field research. A true Ranger cannot do without one! In the afternoon, back at the Visitor Centre, there will finally be the awarding of the Dolomiti Ranger diplomas! Waiting for you is a farmer who will accompany you to the barn, let you collect eggs, feed animals and who knows what else. We take the bus to the Öbersthöfe in Vernuer/Vernurio. The hike takes us via trail no. 5 to the alpine hut Obisellalm and the natural mountain lake Obisellsee. There we can enjoy a delicious lunch. Strengthened, we hike along trail no. 21 to the Hahnenkammhütte with a wonderful panoramic view of the Meran/Merano basin. We return to the starting point via a beautiful forest path. The Plawennpark in the heart of Silandro is the idyllic stage of our weekly evening concerts in the summer months. Today, we enjoy the sounds of the local music band Tarres/Tarsch, with a view of the high tower of the parish church, the historic town hall and Schlandersberg Castle, which is perched high on the rock. Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. When walking in nature with your eyes open, you will find lots of materials that can be used to create surprising things. In the small workshop in the centre of Ortisei, pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones, and other natural materials are used to build small works of art together with the children. Thanks to this workshop the creations can be taken home and remind even after the holidays what great things can be made with such simple materials and a little imagination. During the workshop we build together a new home for useful insects made of natural materials. All children are welcome to participate. The price will be 15,00 €.

"Craft market APPAT" Arts and crafts The traditional craft market in Kastelruth takes place in the summer months of July and August. It takes place every Wednesday in the village square and offers a variety of traditional handicrafts and, but also artisan products such as woodwork, glasswork, leather goods and much more. There are also a number of artisans offering handmade jewelry, ceramics and other handcrafted products.
