The apple tours in Appiano with our expert Doris, offer a unique opportunity to get to know the fascinating world of apple growing and processing. Appiano is proud of its rich apple tradition and invites visitors to learn more about this popular fruit growing. During the apple tours you will have the opportunity to dive directly into the apple orchards and learn from Doris everything about the cultivation, care and harvesting of apples. You will be amazed at how much knowledge and care is behind each apple.

Once we arrive at the "Lido" café by the lake, we give our animals a break for an hour, where you can treat yourself to a well-deserved ice cream or refreshment. During the hour's stay, each participant is free to use their time as they wish. On a hot summer's day, the lake invites you to swim, and if you want to satisfy your hunger at lunchtime, you can have a small snack in the "Lido" café or eat a delicious burger in Sea 23. For all honey lovers, the Beekeeping Museum is located in the immediate vicinity and is well worth a visit. In addition to the bee products on sale there, you shouldn't miss a tour of the museum. After the break, we make our way back to Linzbach with our tame stallions. Note: If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we reserve the right to convert this tour into a shorter trek. The approximately two-hour night hike leads from the center of Partschins through orchards and deciduous forests to the impressive Partschins waterfall. The path covers about 430 meters in altitude.

ONLY IN GERMAN OR ITALIAN Niedereben Farm is situated at an altitude of 634 metres on Nörderberg mountain. Benefiting from the advantageous climate, olives, grapes and cacti all flourish here. The Hofer family supplies the local organic specialist retailer (Biokistl) with its fruit and vegetables and sells a variety of home produced, typical South Tyrolean organic products in their own farm shop. Cows, pigs, quails, ducks, geese and chickens all feel like “pigs in clover” on the farm! This introduction to the long history of the farm gives visitors an insight into livestock husbandry and wine growing on the Vinschgau’s Nörderberg mountain and shows the route taken from the first olives to the production of the farm’s own olive oil. The following products are available to buy directly from the farm shop: speck (bacon), salami, smoked sausages, cooked herb-crusted ham, Coppa ham, farmer’s speck, seasonal fruit and vegetables, and in the autumn months chestnuts and pumpkins, apple juice and Vernatsch wine.

The total price includes the guided tour, return trip with the ropeway Merano 2000 and the necessary equipment which conforms to safety standards: climbing harness, climbing gear and helmet. Guided tour of the church and visit to the Romanesque three apses church of St. Margarethen. It is one of the Romanesque sites in South Tyrol and represents an art-historical treasure of European value. On the Romanesque Road you will come across numerous documents from earlier times. From the "Foolish Virgins" and the "Dumpling Eater", to one of the oldest churches in Tyrol, the smallest town in the Alps and the highest Benedictine monastery in Europe, as well as other Romanesque frescoes and sites of unspeakable value, these are all part of the "Stairway to Heaven" project. You’ll learn all about the valley and its inhabitants and gain an overview prehistoric and early history of the Venosta Valley, the immaterial cultural heritage of the irrigation channels, and the story of the Swabian Children and poverty in the valley. We take the Brenner motorway to Rovereto. Through the Loppio Valley and the Passo San Givanni we already reach the north-eastern shore of Lake Garda at Torbole. We drive along the eastern shore to Malcesine. There we enjoy a longer stay to get to know the famous town on the eastern shore. In the early afternoon we take a private boat to Limone. By bus you will then travel along the tunnel-rich Westgardesana towards Riva, the northernmost town on Lake Garda. Via Arco and the Sarca Valley past the beautifully situated Lake Toblino and through the narrow Vela Gorge we reach the Adige Valley again and the Brenner motorway back to Schenna.
