The via ferrata Brigata Tridentina, one of the most iconic climbing routes in the Dolomites, is going to be illuminated under the starry sky of late July. An annual tradition, thanks to the tireless efforts of the local 'Croderes' group of mountaineers, who climb up with torches to illuminate the route, starting from the slopes of the Sella Group and reaching the Pisciadú refuge. This route was opened in the 1960s by the Alpini of the Brigata Tridentina. You should come and admire this spectacle in the church square in Colfosco, the best spot to enjoy the illumination. The Colfosco-Corvara music band will add a touch of charm with their enchanting melodies. Please note that in the event of bad weather, the illumination will be cancelled to ensure the safety of mountaineers. The band concert will take place in Corvara's event hall in the event of bad weather. In summer, eisacktalWein organises the traditional wine tasting "Treffpunkt Wein" under the large arcades in Brixen in collaboration with the Brixen Tourismus Genossenschaft. Several Eisack Valley winegrowers will set up their tables in the arcades and present their wines to a wide audience. There will also be cheese variations from DeGust Affineur and specialities from Naturbackstube Profanter. This special wine evening will also be accompanied by music.

Visitors can enjoy a colourful and busy market under the canopy on Raiffeisenplatz market square in Schenna. Producer from South Tyrol present the tasty specialities and healthy delicacies grown and made in their gardens, fields and cellars. Artisans from the South Tyrol region also display their original crafts at this market.

Musically Reimagined “Korrnrliadr” A fresh musical interpretation of the well-known poems by Luis Stefan Stecher. The quartet Flouraschworz – named after a dark-haired beauty from Stecher’s texts – features Hannes Ortler (harmonium, accordion, melodica, clarinet), Michl Reissner (drums, percussion), Franco Micheli (bass), and Heiner Stecher (vocals, guitar). All four musicians bring rich backgrounds in teaching, jazz, and songwriting. Flouraschworz represents both the Vinschgau Valley and a deep connection to its culture, blending poetic dialect lyrics with catchy melodies. Their “Korrnrliadr” offer a unique and expressive musical identity for the region.

Every year at midsummer the witches dance at the Passo delle Erbe and spread a feeling of magic. The so called wizards accompany all the spectators up to the foot of the Sas de Pütia, where the wiches dance and are up to mischief. There are also old farmers’ traditions, stories, songs, fun and action for kids and gastronomical delicacies

It is said that long ago, witches and wizards gathered beneath the walls of “Pütia” to dance around the fire, share ancient tales, genuine flavors, and forgotten knowledge. We invite you to relive this unique experience, where traditions, myths, and legends intertwine in an enchanted atmosphere. The event will begin in the early afternoon and continue until dawn, with dances, melodies, and the charm of a night ruled by the stars. The 8 summit march - a mountain tour of a special kind! This high alpine extreme tour covers 25 km and 3,000 metres in altitude. The route leads from the picturesque, medieval town of Glurns in the valley to the mountain peaks in the Stilfserjoch National Park. At each of the 8 summits you receive a stamp, which must be stamped on the start card. Only recommended for real mountain enthusiasts. Info: R e g i s t r a t i o n Registration takes place via the online ticket sale, which is possible until 20 July 2025 at the advance booking price of € 70.00. From 21 July 2025, the ticket will cost € 80.00 (unless the number of participants of 500 has already been reached). From 24.07.2025, registration will only be possible by telephone.
