Fun and entertainment for children. Christmas is an exciting time for children, and the Merano Christmas Markets have reserved a space for them dedicated to imagination and creativity. On the upper promenade (near the Posta bridge) is the Goldie's House, the mascot of the Merano Christmas Markets, who welcomes his young guests on weekends and during the Christmas holidays with lots of workshops for children aged 4 and up. Once again this year, the Christmas Mass for children will take place in Völser Aicha on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m.

What would Christmas Eve be without music? After the Children's Mass you can hear the sounds of the tower brass from the Parish church tower Ortisei and then at the small Antonius Square. With an energetic mix of radio hits, classics, and feel-good party tunes, he creates the perfect vibe for a lively and fun afternoon full of rhythm and good energy.

On December 24, after the Children’s Mass at 4:00 p.m. in the Gries Abbey Church, our group, together with four wind players from the Bürgerkapelle Gries, will perform in front of the war memorial. The program will feature a selection of Christmas pieces played by the wind instruments and Christmas carols, concluding with the famous “Silent Night,” while the volunteers from Gries illuminate the event with their torches and we share our Christmas greetings with those present.

In the midst of the winter atmosphere and surrounded by festive lighting, the scene of Christmas Eve comes to life.
The cot, handcrafted from high-quality wood, invites you to experience the Christmas story in all its originality and beauty.

The life-size figures of Mary, Joseph, the newborn baby Jesus and the animals unfold in all their splendour and bring the Christmas message of peace, love and hope straight to the heart of visitors.

On December 24th at 4 pm, the KFS organizes the children’s Christmas celebration in the pilgrimage church of Riffian/Rifiano.

The Christmas story is presented in a nativity play, accompanied by Christmas songs.

The event will be held in German.

The Bravo Zulu Blues Band renews its annual tradition by offering the city completely free musical moments, continuing a long-standing custom that has enriched Bolzano’s Christmas atmosphere for many years.

The performance will take place, as customary on Christmas Eve, December 24, from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM, near the Municipal Exhibition Hall, a location historically used and now recognized as the traditional spot for our Christmas concert.

Today shortened operating times at the Rittner cable car and the Ritten Railway. In the evening last trip of the Rittner cable car (Bozen-Oberbozen-Bozen) at 7.24 p.m., last trip of Ritten Railway from Klobenstein at 7.08 and from Oberbozen at 7.36 p.m.

The guided Giro delle Cime tour is a must for skiers who want to dive deep into the winter splendour of the famous UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites. The guided tour is organised by the respective ski schools in the area. Registration and payment is therefore made directly with the respective ski school.

By minibus (the first 8 registered persons can travel in the minibus of the Alpine School, all other persons take the public bus) from San Candido to Signaue where we take the cable car Three Peaks to Stiergarten. Cost of the cable car ride is 25.00 Euro per person.
Hike with views of the Three Peaks via Malga Klammbach to Rifugio Alpe di Nemes, where we have a rest stop. Descent to Passo Monte Croce and from there return to San Candido by minibus, private car, or public bus.

Hiking with a view: on this winter tour, the panorama is simply captivating. The funicular takes you from Ortisei to Resciesa (2.100 m) in the Puez–Odle Nature Park. Then, a peaceful winter path leads to the Holy Cross Chapel, until finally reaching the summit cross. Let yourself be enchanted by the extraordinary panorama of the surrounding mountain peaks, before returning – by sled or by funicular - to the valley.

Snowshoe tour along the crest of Rasciesa in direction Brogles to the hut Geisleralm. Stopover at the hut followed by a joint toboggan run down to St.Magdalena/Ranui. Arrival by cab via Val Gardena to Ortisei to the valley station Rasciesa (1.304m). Our tour begins with the ride of the funicular (fee required) to the Rasciesa (2163m). From the top station, take trail no. 35, to the Brogles Hut (2054m). Behind the hut the path joins the Adolf Munkel path, which was built as early as 1905. You walk at the foot of the Sas Rigais until you finally reach the Geisler Alm (1996m) via the 34 path. After a comfortable break, the descent by a toboggan (for a fee) or by foot (by arrangement) follows via the 34 path to Ranui (1350m). Here the cab is already waiting to take us back to Lajen.
