    Trip with a small bus to the Villanders mine
    Barbian/Barbiano, Brixen/Bressanone and environs
    Travel with a small bus to the Villanders mine car park (outward journey only). Departure from the village square in Barbiano at 9.30 a.m. Guided tour of the mine at 10.30 a.m. for those interested. Then hike on trail no. 3/St. Anna and 3A/ Ansitz Schloss Gravetsch (walking time 1 ½ hours). From there bus 345/ 2.59 pm to Klausen station and bus 346 from Klausen station/ 3.46 pm return to Barbian.     What can we learn from feathers, furs, horns and antlers? What do we have to keep in mind when observing wild animals? When do animals need protection? On this early-morning hike, our young explorers get a chance to sharpen all five senses and, with a bit of luck, even spot a chamois or deer! At the end of the activity, you can have breakfast at the Pederü hut, or continue on to the Fanes/Lavarella or Sennes huts.
