    Landscape pictures of our immediate surroundings, fauna and flora of our mountain world. Hubert Hilscher, born and resident in Niederdorf/Villabassa, is a passionate amateur photographer and a member of the “Strix Naturfotografen Südtirol”. “Special light and cloud moods or even fog give the mountains a special magic. Some nights under the starry sky, but also encounters with wild animals, small insects or flowers are always something special for me and I am grateful to be able to experience such moments,” he says with conviction. He tries to capture the most beautiful moments with the help of photography. Free entry

    Activities with the ambassadors of the Ladin tradition. La Villa is home to one of the headquarters of the “Croce Bianca”, a voluntary organization that provides first aid. Lukas became a volunteer at the age of thirteen and has never stopped helping those in need in the valley. During this visit you will learn what volunteering in the mountains is all about and you will soon realize that these helpful people have a big heart. Information and reservation at the tourist offices or online within the day before (limited places).     Sunrise hike on the Rosskopf with breakfast at the mountain

    This summer, visitors to the Rosskopf can look forward to an extraordinary highlight: the Sunrise Concerts with Mountain Breakfast at the Wishing Bell. In the magical atmosphere of the early morning, guests can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over the Stubai Alps. The adventure begins with an early morning gondola ride from Sterzing up to 1,860 meters above sea level. From there, participants embark on a guided hike, covering the final 350 meters of elevation to reach the Köpfl summit, where they witness the sun rising over the Zillertal Alps and the Dolomites. At the Wunschglocke, the Sunrise Concert welcomes the first rays of the new day, creating an enchanting atmosphere. To top off the experience, a regional mountain breakfast is served at 2,120 meters, making it an unforgettable morning in the Alps. A true moment of enjoyment, whether alone or with loved ones – unforgettable moments! Rousing songs and a great atmosphere are on the cards when “Die Draufgänger” rock the festival ground in Dorf Tirol on August 1st. The repertoire and unmistakeable style of what is currently Austria’s most successful party band features party tunes, hits and folk music, seasoned with a sizeable helping of humour. The party kicks off at 7 pm with the support act, “The Snoops” from South Tyrol, who will help heat up the atmosphere with their energy-charged performance. Then, at 9 pm, it’ll be time to clear the stage for the main act and put the spotlight on energetic summer vibes, cool drinks, delicious food and partying to the very best hits!
