“Can it be a little more?” - Hike to the Glecksee lake
Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs
from
center
The starting point is Flading in the Ratschingstal valley. Our route takes us up to the Gleckalm (not cultivated) via trail no. 30. The route alternates between flatter and steeper sections, which makes the hike particularly varied. The landscape presents itself in all its diversity and beauty. Once we have reached the Gleckalm plateau, we continue on our way to the Glecksee lake. The way back is mostly along the same path, but there is the option of organizing an alternative downhill version via the Klammalm.
Total distance: 10.6 km (5.5 km to Glecksee)
Total duration: 6.5 hours
Difference in altitude: 950 m
Difficulty: difficult - sure-footedness is required, a good level of fitness is essential and prior training is recommended.
Participation for children from 12 years!
