Fresh vegetables and fruits, eggs, spices, cheese, honey, wine, juice….and many more quality products cultivated and produced in Kaltern are being sold from 8 am to noon on the Square of the town. Come by and experience the taste of nature. All these products have been produced and are being sold by the local farmers themselves. In a matter of fact South Tyrol enjoys of a very good reputation as far as the production of quality products is concerned. Thanks to the accurate cultivation methods and the strict hygenic regulations there is no doubt that these goods are of the highest quality and of the best taste.

Every Saturday at the small farmers' market in the centre of Steinegg|Collepietra, there are freshly harvested vegetables, seasonal fruit, dairy products and cheese from the Ebenhof farm cheese dairy. All goods come directly from the producers, i.e. the farmers.

On Whitsunday it's time again for a good lunch! The Tarces Schützen company invites you to a Whitsunday lunch at the ice rink on the Tarces Hill. Everyone who comes along will be well catered for. There will even be a bouncy castle for the little ones. Fun for everyone! The Villnöss Beekeepers' Association invites you to the Open Doors at the Beehive on 19th May 2024 at the schoolyard in St. Peter/Villnöss valley. The physical well-being will be well taken care of. Drinks and traditional dishes such as Tirtler and Strauben (also to take away) will be served. Live guided tours with a bonnet to a bee colony will also be offered. Start: 11.00 a.m.

Bees - so small and yet so important for our planet. They are among the most important pollinators in the world and contribute to the preservation of wild and cultivated plants. Learn everything about the life of the bee under expert guidance. Our beekeeper Roland will explain to you how the bee builds its combs and how the honey gets from the blossom to the jar. You will also learn which products can be made from honey. After the tour, you can taste some honey. Sparkling wine tasting and guided visit at the Kettmeir winery. The journey starts with a tour of the historic winery and ends with a final wine tasting. Participants will learn the difference between the definitions Brut, metodo classico and doux. They will also discover what the pupitre is used for and what remouage is. We will guide you through our Gothic wine cellar and take a short tour of the vineyard just behind the cellar. We will give you an insight into the history of the farm and our passion for wine, gardens, art and cuisine, ending with a tasting of 6 wines from our range. The private distillery "Wezl" in Riffian/Rifiano has been around since 2012. Jochen Kofler produces over 20 varieties of grappa and fruit brandies with much love and skill. Multiple awards at the Destillata, including "Edelbrand of the Year 2016" for Grappa Merlot. Named "Italy's national winner" and "Distillery of the highest quality" in 2019. Jochen invites you to visit of the private distillery "Wezl", where he explains how the fine brandies are distilled and they are tasted with delicious chocolate.

Our events combines music and enjoyment in the village centre. Visitors can also expect a tasting of alpine and mediterranean delicacies during a traditional concert by our local music bands.

Scenic hikes along the ancient Waalwege accompanied by Thomas, our local guide, as he walks you through the ingenious centuries-old hillside irrigation system. Passing through the orchards you reach the vineyards of the Lehengut Wine Estate. Premium South Tyrolean wines include Pinot Blanc Riesling, supplemented with special local varietals such as Sauvignon Gris. A small surprise lies awaiting at the end.

Erika and Elisabeth from Eichernhof in Vöran provide insights into the colorful and fragrant world of wild and garden herbs. With their extensive knowledge of herbs, they explain how to safely identify spring and summer herbs and how to harness the power of plants in cooking, health, and skincare.
