From April to the beginning of November, young winemaker Lukas from the Hillepranterhof invites you to enjoy his exquisite wines every Thursday at 5:30 pm.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of viticulture on a guided tour of the vineyard and cellar. On request, you can also be served a platter of regional specialties.
Winegrowing has been a tradition at the Hillepranterhof for generations. Since 2021, winemaker Lukas has been processing the grapes directly on the estate and marketing his wines independently. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Vernatsch and Pinot Noir grow on the slopes of the vineyard. The Pinot Noir is a real highlight and embodies the unique character of the terroir.
Things are “young and dynamic” at the Hillepranterhof - the Kapfinger family looks forward to your visit!

Sonja will provide you with information about the South Tyrolean Alpine apple, variety overview, cultivation methods, field work, processing, and marketing. You can expect a tasting of apples and apple juice from a local producer, along with a short walk through nearby orchards. Duration is approximately 1.5 hours. Expert Martin presents five exquisite wines and combines them with the finest regional specialties. New, harmonious moments of pleasure are created every week - individually tailored to the selected wines. But Wine & Culinary with Martin is more than just a tasting: it is a wine seminar, an expert tasting, a journey through the Eppan wine world. Martin shares his in-depth knowledge of winegrowing, the special features of the region and is happy to answer all your questions about wine.
Experience an exciting tour of the vineyards with the winemaker of the Falkenstein Winery. Learn interesting facts about climate, soil, grape varieties, their care and history. Together with the winemaker you will visit the wine cellar and taste the exquisite wines afterwards.

Karneid/Cornedo all'Isarco, Dolomites Region Eggental
The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room.
During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin.
Guided tours always take place on Thursdays at 04:00 p.m.

At the Plonerhof winery, a variety of wines are produced on steep vineyard rows with inclines of up to 40%. Every week, new topics await you – from the healing power of herbs and natural remedies to creative uses in the kitchen. Whether you're interested in medicinal herbs, traditional herbal medicine, or culinary wild herbs, you'll find the right topic for you.
In this workshop with herbal expert Sieglinde, you’ll learn which wild herbs are particularly well-suited for making an aromatic pesto and what valuable properties they have. Together, we'll process the fresh herbs into a delicious wild herb pesto, which we’ll then taste in a convivial atmosphere.
As a small souvenir, you can take home your homemade pesto.

As the sun sets on the horizon, casting a breathtaking play of colors across the sky and the Dolomite mountains, a culinary experience of the highest class begins: The Chef's Open Air – Sunset Edition in the Eggental Valley.
6 Eggen Valley gourmet chefs, 4 old wood-fired ovens, 1 legendary mountain backdrop: the main ingredients for the Chefs’ Open Air as part of Eggental Valley’s Culturinarika.
In the picturesque alpine meadows below the farm Stadlalm in Welschnofen, between the Rosengarten and the Latemar, between the grill and the fire pit, between creative and sophisticated creations, at this event you can look over the shoulders of the chefs as they prepare their delicious dishes.
Manuel Pichler from the Restaurant Tschein, Reinhard Daverda from the Hotel Pfösl, Gregor Eschgfäller from the Gourmet Restaurant Astra, Thobias Pardeller from the Franzin Alm, Philip Lochmann from the Hotel Engel Gourmet & Spa and Arnold Paris from the Vitalhotel Erica will all give your taste buds a treat.
Wines by renowned South Tyrolean winemakers will be served in keeping with the delicious food, including the Manincor Winery, the Nals Margreid Winery, the Glögglhof Winery, the Unterhofer Winery and the Putzenhof Winery. Guests will be welcomed with a sparkling aperitif from Red Moon Sparkling and the Arunda Winery, accompanied by a selection of savory appetizers.
Coffee enjoyment is available during the event, too. Those in the mood for cool drinks will be well catered for at the Getränke Holzknecht stand. Additionally, the Schwarz Distillery will be present, offering a range of fine spirits.
The band “The Legendary St. Pauls Tschäss Bänd” will ensure there is plenty of great gourmet music too.

ARCHE farms are uniquely different: at our farm you will meet ancient livestock breeds threatened with extinction and accompany us on a tour of the farm. Together we go into the barn and visit our colourful chickens and clever geese. Finally, we will taste the farm’s products together.

From the Provincial Mining Museum in Maiern/Ridnaun, trail no. 9 takes us on a relaxed, leisurely hike to the entrance of the wild Burkhardklamm gorge. At the waterfall, we breathe in the finely atomized aerosol of the Fernerbach stream, and the invigorating effect of these healing drops is immediately noticeable. You will experience the health-promoting effect that our scientific study at the Paracelsus Salzburg Private University has shown. We find peace and relaxation by becoming aware of nature with all our senses. The alpine hut Aglsbodenalm invites you to a cozy stop. With Kneipp treatments, we also let the calming power of the water work its magic on us on the way back.
Participation in the hike is possible from the age of 6.
Coming from Sterzing, follow the signs towards Ridnaun Valley up to Maiern.
The meeting point is conveniently accessible by bus line 312 towards Ridnaun/Maiern. It is the last stop. Arrival at 9:38 AM, the tour starts just 5 minutes later! The return trip to Sterzing is possible at 3:05 PM from the same stop.
Tip: The guided hike ends around 3:00 PM – the perfect time to join a tour at the Mining Museum, which starts at 3:15 PM. A great way to enjoy both experiences in one day.
