Typical dishes from the farmers’ kitchen are prepared in the classic way and refined with modern influences. The result: dishes that are simply “bsunders guat” (especially good). The Margreid Lantern Advent invites you to enjoy the pre-Christmas season in an atmospheric setting. Mulled wine stands, an idyllic Christmas forest and lovingly designed lanterns decorating the streets and houses give Margreid a special Christmas glow.
A highlight is the Krampus run on 5 December, accompanied by St. Nicholas, who gives gifts to the children. Musical performances, Advent stories and culinary delights create a festive atmosphere for young and old alike.
On 23 December, the traditional charity mulled wine stand invites you to enjoy music and community spirit – and the most beautiful lantern decoration of the year is also awarded a prize.

Sterzing in the north of Southtyrol is surrounded by the beautiful sound of ringing bells in all its forms and sounds. During the culinary winter-weeks "The Alpine Table", numerous mountain huts across the holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal invite you to experience alpine cuisine at its most authentic. From 14–21 December 2025 and 15–22 March 2026, participating huts serve special dishes prepared exclusively with regional ingredients and offered outside the regular menu. Each hut interprets local products in its own unique way, creating unforgettable moments of culinary enjoyment in the heart of the winter paradise. A culinary experience that harmoniously combines tradition, regionality, and the cozy atmosphere of winter mountain huts.

Every Thursday, you are warmly invited to join us for an enjoyable guided tour of the winery and cellar. For a limited number of visitors, we open up the old, historic cellar located seven meters underground, providing you with unique insights into our daily work at the winery and much more... The tour is followed by a tasting session, featuring five wines from our portfolio. Reservations by Wednesday 5 p.m. Price per person: Euro 20.

The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. Since its opening, the ice rink in the centre of Schenna has enjoyed great popularity. Anyone who wants to take to the ice is in exactly the right place in Schenna. The 12x30 metre artificial ice rink offers locals and guests the chance to do their laps on the shiny surface right in the village centre. Skates and helmets can be rented. A food stall offers warming drinks and snacks. Opening hours: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM The food stall remains open until 8:00 PM Closed on Tuesdays - except from 24.12. to 06.01.

At Flachenhof, the old tradition of bread baking comes to life. Together, fragrant whole-grain rolls are kneaded and shaped, then enjoyed fresh from the oven. And the best part: you can take a freshly baked roll home as a delicious souvenir.

In the evening, the snow-covered landscape of wintertime Deutschnofen has a magic all its own. The moon and stars make the snowy slopes sparkle – if the sky is cloudy, we simply bring along some torches to light our way during our romantic nighttime stroll. Meeting place: Always at 6:00 p.m. at the Deutschnofen Tourist Agency. The 4-km-long tour involves 200 meters of altitude differential and takes about two hours. At its conclusion, we can warm up in cheerful surroundings with some mulled wine.

The Plonerhof winery in Marling invites you to an exclusive wine tasting and cellar tour every Thursday at 3:00 PM, year-round (except during harvest). The guided tours take place in German on Thursdays and in Italian on Fridays.

Experience how passion and expertise create exceptional wines. During the tour, you will learn interesting details about viticulture and wine production. In the cellar, the secrets of winemaking will be revealed. Finally, the wine tasting completes this unique experience.
