An artisan market, live music and traditional and original gastronomic delights: these are the main ingredients of a festival that involves the whole of San Cassiano. Organised in collaboration with the town's associations, the event is a moment of encounter open to everyone, young and old, guests and locals, and anyone who really wants to have fun. Art Affair - Experience old crafts Wood turning, basket making, blacksmithing, shoe repairs, spinning and knitting - old crafts from the Val d'Ega, some of which have already been forgotten, are given a special stage at this event. Musical entertainment is provided by a brick organ player. Where does the milk come from? How is a cow actually milked? And how is it fed? What all happens on the fascinating journey from the blade of grass to the finished cheese? And above all, what is it that makes organic cheese so special? Let farmer Anna answer all these questions and learn more interesting information about the fascinating farm day, organic animal husbandry and the farm's sustainable vision. During a guided tour of the farm's own show dairy, farmer Anna explains how the farm's own cheese is made and which varieties are produced. From Friday, 12th July to Sunday, 14th July, local associations organise the village festival. Friday evening: Opening of the village festival, tapping of the barrel with guests of honour from sport & politics. Festivities throughout the village with live bands, DJs and culinary delights. Festivities until 02.00 ore Saturday, from 5.00 p.m.: Start of the festivities with tasty treats and refreshing drinks. At approx. 17.30 hrs: Return of the round trip "Olt, roschtig und mindestens 2 Radler" with subsequent vehicle exhibition. Apple growing takes centre stage at the family-run Schrenteweinhof in Lana. Farmer Patrizia tells you exciting stories and many interesting details about her favourite fruit. She is one of the 63 farm women service providers under the brand "South Tyrolean farm women. From our hands". Patrizia will introduce you to the different apple varieties and you will learn a lot about apple growing. In between, you can also take a bite of a juicy fruit! The farmers women of St. Lorenzen offer South Tyrolean specialities. The "Südtiroler Bauernjugend" provides food and drinks. Live music with different groups.

On three Wednesday evenings the church square in Welschnofen is once again transformed into a meeting place to enjoy the balmy summer nights. Local bands with people from the Val d'Ega ensure a good mood and good cheer. Various stalls offer local specialities such as Schlutzer, Krapfen, Strauben, Welschnofner beer and much more, inviting you to get to know South Tyrol from its culinary side. A special highlight is always the Schuhplattler (traditional folk dancer), who delight young and old with their "Platteln". The little guests can let off steam to their heart's content at the children's program and do handicrafts with natural materials, sow flowers or transform themselves into lions and butterflies at the children's face painting.
