From the mountain station of the funicular railway at 2,103 m altitude we run first westward to the Resciesa summit cross. There we take a little time to enjoy the breathtaking panorama and to cast a look into the neighbouring Val di Funes. After that we take paths no. 10, 31 and 35 toward the Brogles Saddle, whereas we stay approximately at the same elevation, making this run a real pleasure. Arriving at the Brogles Saddle we can either run back the same way to the funicular, or we turn right onto path n. 5, which leads into the path no. 9 through Val d’Anna and finally brings us back to Ortisei. Just before we reach the village we come to a Kneipp facility in Val d’Anna, where we can cool our legs.
Explore the serene beauty of Val d'Anna with a relaxing walk that culminates in a small Kneipp path, ideal for rejuvenating body and mind. The walk is suitable for all and easily accessible even with a stroller.
There is a large marmot population in the area at the foot of the Plattkofel. This is why this tour is often called "Marmot walk". With a bit of luck you might even come a cross one of those animals on this trail.
This course is especially suitable for hobby runners. The entire route is on asphalt and is not very difficult. Due to the continuous lighting, this run can also be run perfectly at night.
During this excursion you may well just see modern farmsteads, but handy information boards showing pictures from the time reveal what the buildings really looked like in the past.

The 1.1 km long running course from Ortisei to the Annatal coffee/restaurant offers a scenic highlight. This beautiful course, which leads mainly through the forest, is not only suitable for beginners but also for advanced runners.
The imposing mountain scenery of the Sella Group, the waterfall, the vertical climbing passages at Exner Tower, a suspension bridge and a mountain lake make the Pisciadù via ferrata
one of the most popular and busiest in the Dolomites.

This easier hike takes you to the idyllic Lech Sant (Ladin name for 'holy lake'), which is the largest mountain lake on the Alpe Mastlé. The meadow surrounding the lake with magnificent view oth the Odle peaks invites to linger and relax.

According to the legend, a young local inhabitant, Count Jakob von Stetteneck, let it build in the middle of the woods in gratitude for coming back alive from Santiago de Compostela. He dedicated it to Saint Jakob, the protector of all hikers.
Tradition holds that the S. Giacomo church is the oldest one of the whole valley, since its own origin goes back to the 12th century. In historic-artistic terms, its Gothic frescos in the presbytery and the paintings from the 16th century near the pulpit, which represent scenes of the legend, are valuable and unique.
The Resciesa area offers three different running routes with a central starting point at the mountain station of the Resciesa funicular. This circular route invites you to discover the surroundings of the area in a sporty and above all healthy way.
Multi-day trekking tour „Curona de Gherdëina” - On the crown of Val Gardena
“Curona de Gherdëina” is the unique trekking tour on the fascinating mountain crown of Val Gardena on over 2.000 height meters. The 60 kilometres long tour goes from the Natural Park Puez-Odle in the northeast (Unesco World Heritage), to the Sella plateau in the southeast and the Sassolungo mountain group in the south of the valley. The Dolomites show its particular beauty; on every part of the trekking the “pale mountains” seem to take different shapes. Relaxing opportunities are provided in the mountain huts in which you can enjoy typical dishes and live unforgettable sunrises and sunsets.
The walk through the village lets you discover S. Cristina's different sights and landmarks. One of them is the Romanesque-Gothic styled church of S. Cristina, which was first mentioned in 1342. Moreover you can walk passed life-size bonze figures, the world's biggest hand-carved crib, a children's playground and two waterfalls. The Raida dl luech is the ideal path to get to know the town of S. Cristina.
Resciesa is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Puez - Odle Nature Park and is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Val Gardena. This loop hike takes you from the top station of the Resciesa funicular to the summit cross. Passing then by the S. Croce Chapel you return to the starting point. Suitable for hikers of all ages, this easily hiked route guarantees spectacular panoramic views, extending from the Valle Isarco to the Sciliar area and to the Passo Sella.
The Toboggan run (3 km) starting from the mountain station of the new funicular Resciesa in Ortisei offers a great experience for the whole family. As there is an intermediate station, it is possible to enjoy the run several times in row. Alternatively you can reach the Resciesa hut within a thirty minute walk starting from the mountain station. From there, you can sledge along the slope and you will connect then to the toboggan run.
All those who don't have a sledge can rent one at the valley station of the funicular.
The fairly short yet busy via ferrata boasts a magnificent view of the north face of the Sella
Group, the Sassolungo and the Puez plateau.
Thanks to its exposed and central position, the Pic mountain is a unique panoramic mountain that can be scaled without much effort. Also, the Sëurasas mountain is considered a real jewel among insider.
The Alpe di Seceda is located on the sunny side of Val Gardena, at the foot of the Parco Naturale Cisles-Odle (nature reserve), part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage and represents an ideal base for hikes and climbing tours.
At the top station of the cable car you can enjoy a marvellous view of almost the entire South Tyrol as well as of the mountains in Trentino, Lombardy and Austria. Last but not least, you can admire the breathtaking peaks of the nearby Dolomites, of course: from the Tofane, the Sciliar and the Sella Massif to the Sassolungo and the "pearl" of the Dolomites, the "Marmolada".
From the Seceda summit you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Dolomites and of all the mountains in South Tyrol - from Ortles to Großglockner (Austria).
