The Danielhütte mountain lodge, an oasis embedded in magnificent high mountain scenery with a unique panorama. At an altitude of 2240 metres, in the midst of the sunny Seceda mountain pasture, which is surrounded by some of the most breathtaking peaks of the Dolomites, our cosy mountain hut is waiting for you.

This scenic path in the nearby district of Ortisei - the Anna valley - is recommended for people with impairments who want to enjoy the unspoilt nature.

Our hut is situated on the Sella Pass in the middle of the breathtaking Dolomites scenery. Thanks to its position between Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, you can enjoy a fantastic 360° view. In winter you can reach us directly via the Sellaronda. In summer, however, you can reach us either from the Sella Pass after a comfortable 25-minute walk or from Campitello di Fassa with the Col Rodella cable car and after a 20-minute walk downhill towards the Sella Pass. Another option to reach us is by bike in 10 minutes from the Sella Pass or downhill from the Col Rodella cable car towards the Sella Pass in only 5 minutes. A large selection of creative culinary dishes from South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine awaits you here. Also pizza lovers will not miss out(only winter). Breathtaking scenery, highest panorama terrace in Val Gardena, homemade tagliatelle.

Built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena. It’s located on the sunny side in the middle of the Nature Park Puez-Odle with a stunning view on the Sassolungo and on the Odle mountains. The Rifugio Firenze was built in 1888 as one of the first mountain huts in Val Gardena by the German-Austrian Alpine Club (DÖAV Regensburg). When in 1921, with the end of the First World War, South Tyrol was given to Italy, the administration of the hut was transferred to the CAI of Florence, which renamed it "Rifugio Firenze". In 2010, after almost 90 years in hands of CAI Florence, the hut was entrusted to the Autonomous Province of Bolzano, which still owns it. Open in summer from 1st June until mid of October

Our mountain hut is located at 1905 m at the Juac alp, above Selva in Val Gardena. Embedded in fresh meadows, our hut is the ideal place to relax and to escape the stress. Just lay back, enjoy the fresh air, our traditional dishes and the amazing view of the sourrounding mountains of Val Gardena. Ambiente The hut is pretty easy to reach by foot and by bike. For passionate hikers, mountain bikers or climbers the hut, for ist ideal location close by the Puez-Odle Natural Park, can be used as a perfekt starting point for walks and excursions. An experienced, local mountain guide can give you some advices or take you on an unforgettable tour to one of the surrounding peaks. The starting point for this beautiful hike is the Costamula farmstead towards Mount Seceda, and it is one of the oldest farms in Val Gardena. The first section of the hike, which takes you up to the Nudrei farmstead, is the steepest, but don't let this discourage you. Further on you will reach the middle station of the 'Furnes' cable car, from where you can enjoy a beautiful view. The hike continues to the left until you reach the Cuecenes stream, where you can also take a regenerating and refreshing break along the stream. On the way back you pass a private hut and descend to Martin, from where you can take the local bus back to Ortisei.

The strenuous but all the more rewarding hike up the Seceda starts in the village centre of Ortisei and reaches its climax with the unique view from the Seceda to the graceful Olde peaks, it is one of the most popular views in the Dolomites.

The Neidia Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 2000 m, belongs to the Puze farm in S. Cristina. The most important thing for us is to ensure that all our dishes are freshly prepared with our own farm products.
