The Rigais restaurant at Hotel Antares offers a refined blend of international cuisine and local tradition, using only the freshest, often zero-kilometre ingredients. Every week, enjoy the unique atmosphere of a Tyrolean dinner or indulge in a dinner ending with a rich dessert buffet. For a more exclusive experience, you can book the private wine room for a special dinner or a tasting of fine wines. Our hut is situated on the Sella Pass in the middle of the breathtaking Dolomites scenery. Thanks to its position between Val Gardena and Val di Fassa, you can enjoy a fantastic 360° view. In winter you can reach us directly via the Sellaronda. In summer, however, you can reach us either from the Sella Pass after a comfortable 25-minute walk or from Campitello di Fassa with the Col Rodella cable car and after a 20-minute walk downhill towards the Sella Pass. Another option to reach us is by bike in 10 minutes from the Sella Pass or downhill from the Col Rodella cable car towards the Sella Pass in only 5 minutes. A large selection of creative culinary dishes from South Tyrolean and Italian cuisine awaits you here. Also pizza lovers will not miss out(only winter). The hut is located on the Trentino side right under the Sassolungo. We have 12 beds in comfort rooms with own bathroom and 30 more beds in typical tyrolean rooms with sharing bathrooms. The refuge has boot warmers, clothes dryer and e-bike refills with the possibility to put the bikes indoors, a modern ski-room and a private ski-lift that takes you directly to the Dolomiti Superski slopes 12 resorts and 1200km of slopes and the famous Sellaronda without cold morning queues. Our cuisine is typical with a touch of modernity, many dishes offered come from our organic farms in Highlander, the largest in Italy. Access: from Campitello di Fassa via the Col Rodella cable car, then descending for 10 minutes along the path that leads to Sasso Piatto or from Passo Sella taking the Friedrich August path in 30 minutes you arrive at the refuge. We organize lunches, dinners to taste the dishes of traditional local food made with elegance and sophistication. Unique location with panoramic view, surrounded by the most beautiful mountains in the world: Sassolungo, Sella and Marmolada. Ideal starting point for ski - lovers, 100 meters from the slopes of the Sella Ronda. In summer ideal starting point for hikes and climbing tours. Historic refuge built in 1884. The Danielhütte mountain lodge, an oasis embedded in magnificent high mountain scenery with a unique panorama. Available for groups of 4 to 8 people, the Fondue Stube offers the opportunity to enjoy a private dinner immersed in a warm and refined atmosphere, where the flavors of alpine tradition meet the elegance of hospitality. The menu features both classic bouillon chinoise fondue and cheese fondue, accompanied by timeless raclette and a curated South Tyrolean aperitif. From its large trademark windows, you can admire an enchanting panorama of the Sassolungo and the Cir and Sella groups from dawn to dusk. Dantercepies Mountain Lounge enjoys a fascinating location, easily reachable from the famous mountain resort of Selva di Val Gardena via a single lift. During the ascent on the modern Dantercepies cable car, a spectacular scenery will open before your eyes, until you reach our panoramic terrace. If you arrive at Passo Gardena by car, you can reach us on foot or using the comfortable Cir chairlift.
