The walk through the village lets you discover S. Cristina's different sights and landmarks. One of them is the Romanesque-Gothic styled church of S. Cristina, which was first mentioned in 1342. Moreover you can walk passed life-size bonze figures, the world's biggest hand-carved crib, a children's playground and two waterfalls. The Raida dl luech is the ideal path to get to know the town of S. Cristina.
The walk starts at the church of S. Cristina, which is built in Romanesque-Gothic style and which was first mentioned in 1342. From there, the Raida dl luech (that means “walk through the village” in Ladin) follows the former railway line in direction to Selva, goes past a children’s playground and arrives at a bronze sculpture representing a skier.
Then, after reaching the Dosses Square, the circuit continues along the waterfront until the Center Iman, where you can visit the biggest hand-carved crib of the world and where children can stay on another playground. Once back to the Cisles stream, the walk leads first to a small wooden bridge and then to the Monte Pana chair lift valley station.
From that point, the trail steepens a little bit, goes past the vigorous and refreshing Tervela waterfall, continues in the woods and arrives to Plan dala Sia, a place where you can take a rest and relax.
After some minutes you reach Soplajes, where you cross the main road and follow the steep Triech path. This path goes past another waterfall, that lies a bit hidden, and once arrived at the top, the walk ends from where it started, namely at the parish church and the library “Tresl Gruber”.
