    From the Plansoler inn, the route descends along trail no. 6 down to the church and the lower road leading to Burgstall. To the right, forest road no. 12 leads to S. Andrea/St. Andrä. The way back follows along the Kreuzweg trail (signposted) northwards to Cornale/Karnol, from there ascending on trail no. 6 down a field path to Burgstall, and then back to S. Leonardo/St. Leonhard.

    This, a little bit challenging, itinerary starts at the bridge next to the bar Verena on the road direction Würzjoch. We hike upwards on the path through the meadows along the brook Putzerbach, we pass the "Balbein Platzl" with a little pond, picnic-table and panorama lounger. Following the path through the woods, crossing the road to Flitt, we walk uphill to Flitt (1337 m). Here we can take a break and visit the idyllic chapel. The meadows of Flitt offer a beautiful view of the valley with the Peitlerkofel in the background. The path downwards, which is initially steep and its starting point is located at the farm Wurzerhof, leads us to the start of the toboggan run and then to the farm Örtlhof. From here we follow the path through the woods until we arrive at the farm Pekulerhof. Finally we walk on the street until the starting point at the Bar Verena.

    Starting from the car park in Margen, walk along the Hansleitner street following the nature and
    culture path, until you reach the Hansleitner farm. Continue along the panoramic trail, which offers a great view of the St. Margareth chapel. Turn right just below the Hauerhof farm, and you will reach the Lechnerhof tavern. The tavern is opfen from thurseday to sunday. To return, follow the road back to the car park in Margen.

    The spectacular Adolf-Munkelweg Trail in the Puez-Geisler Nature Park runs beneath the north face of the majestic Geisler Group at the closed end of the Villnösstal Valley. Passing through a stone pine forest and crossing Alpine rose fields, the trail leads to welcoming mountain huts ideal for a rest stop.

    Adventure hiking circuit Lorggen at Mount Plose

    Starting at the Plose gondola lift mountain station, follow the Lorggenring trail along the WoodyWalk before it branches off at a wide viewing platform. Stop for a minute and enjoy the view of the Dolomites before continuing into a dense woodland. Along the way, hikers learn about the Lorggen, ancient guardians of the forest and its inhabitants. From the Pfannspitz gondola lift valley station, you can quickly arrive at an elevation of 2,545 m. The view of the spectacular Geißler peaks and the surrounding mountains is absolutely phenomenal! Follow the trail along the ridge to the Plosehütte shelter, from where you can return to Kreuztal at the Plose gondola lift mountain station along trails no. 7 and then no. 3. This part of the circuit offers a magnificent panorama of the Brixen basin. The Lorggenring Hiking Circuit is also accessible to families with children, offering hikers of all ages a unique hiking experience on the slopes of the Plose.

    Millan Circular Hiking Tour

    Just behind the J. Freinademetz Parish Church and the rectory, follow the route up to St. Josephstraße street and from there turn right southwards to the Karlspromenade (Charles Promenade) as far as the Maria am Sand Sanctuary. Then descend passing Karlsburg Castle, crossing Plosestraße road and follow the Koflerweg trail up to Sarnser Straße road. At this point, you can either turn to the right and back to the starting point, or take the Don-Bosco-Straße road down to the Eisack river embankment and follow the river in northerly direction until reaching the city center.

Descend down trail no. 8 down to Cleran/Klerant and from there northwards back to the starting point in Meluno/Mellaun on trail no. 12.

    The tour leads through the village of Naz and then turns right onto the Villages round trip [Dörferrunde] through the Fruhnwald forest up to the Waldertor viewpoint. Past Fiumes/Viums and the Viummer crossing, the route leads mainly through forest paths up to Sciaves. Continue through the village and then go left along the Villages round trip through forest and later through orchards, up to the Flötscher pond. At the Seehof Hotel, cross the road and continue through meadows and woods, always along the signposted road to Rasa/Raas. Continue through the cultural grounds passing the water reservoir back to the street towards Naz. Follow the street to the right, at the Laugen sports field following the sign Dörferrunde. From here, the Villages round trip leads back to the starting point.

    From the car park you hike in a westerly direction and along the Strada del Sole Road for about 1 km. About 100 m after the petrol station and opposite Restaurant Neuwirt you'll find the turnoff to hiking path no. 7 (Corti). Follow the marking 7. You cross Winnebach River and afterwards the Strada del Sole Road. The easiest ascent leads past the Mair am Hof farm. From Mair am Hof you hike for about 20 minutes until you reach the turnoff to path no. 11 (Colle). Continue in a south-westerly direction following marking 11 (Colle). You will hike past the Kuenhof farm. Cross the Strada del Sole Road again at the bus top (you can also return by bus). Follow path no. 3 A until reaching the turnoff on path no. 3B. Leave path no. 3 B when reaching the turnoff to path no. 18A. Cross Winnebach River and you will get on to path no. 18 (Terento), which leads back to the village centre.

    Following Lüsnerstraße road (via Guggenbergstraße street, trail no. 6), turn right on the path to Trunthof farm – past the bridge to the left – northwards on the Psalmenweg trail until you reach Lüsnerstraße. From here, the trail descends to Andreas-Hofer-Brücke bridge, before ascending again to Seeburg Castle and back to Bressanone/Brixen, via the Adlerbrücke bridge on trail no. 1.

Passing two natural biotopes, the scenic trail runs from the northernmost vineyards in South Tyrol as far as the Augustinian Canons Monastery of Neustift/Novacella before returning to Brixen. This all-encompassing trail passes through some of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in South Tyrol.

    This spectacular 4-stage hike crosses through the Eisacktal Valley from the Rodenecker and Lüsner Alm mountain pastures, over the Plose mountain near Brixen/Bressanone to Lajen/Laion at the entrance to the Grödnertal Valley.

    The Brixen High Mountain Trail on the Plose Mountain

    At the cabin-railway mountain terminal called Valcroce - Kreuztal (2,050 metres), take the high road (path # 30) in a northerly direction, along the tree-growing limit to the Ochsenalm (2,085 metres, snack bar). Then ascend on foot path # 6 to the Plosescharte and along the ridge to the Leonhard Cross. Walk along a small path on the ridge to the telegraph Plose summit (2,486 metres, panoramic views) and from there in a southerly direction to the Plose Hut (2,446 metres, snack bar). Descend on path # 7 to Kreuztal.

    Chestnut Trail from Feldthurns to Klausen

    This marked trail leads through colourful mixed woodland in South Tyrol, across lush green meadows and along magnificent avenues of trees - a truly special way to experience nature. A continuous band of chestnut trees stretches from Varna/Vahrn near Bressanone/Brixen along the slopes of the Eisacktal valley as far as the Renon/Ritten high plateau and down into the Bolzano/Bozen valley basin. The hiking trail should not only be thought of as a route for the autumn, as the varied vegetation makes it a delightful route for all seasons.

    You can also buy regional produce directly from local producers along the Chestnut Trail (Keschtnweg). Natural and manmade features along the Chestnut Trail bear witness to a centuries-old culture, while local villages shrouded in myth are full of tales of witches, fairies and ghosts.
