Nature and Culture Trail in Terenten

Start at the parking lot in the center of Terenten and head west along the Puster Valley Sun Road to the Hotel Tirolerhof. Turn right here and follow Trail 1A to the Pillinghof and then to the Marienstöckl. A forest path leads you left to the scenic Pirchner Moos (biotope). Through meadows and past a farm, you’ll reach the Margener Straße.

A short detour will take you to the St. Margaret’s Church. From here, the Nature and Culture Trail continues along Hansleiternstraße to the Jakobihof. Heading east, you’ll enter the Mill Valley and follow the Terner stream, passing by the impressive earth pyramids and returning to the center of Terenten.
