The Dolomiten Panoramaweg Trail on the Plose offers magnificent views of the western Dolomites.
The Dolomites Panorama Round Trail starts at the top station of the Plose gondola lift in Kreuztal/Valcroce and follows mostly wide paths across alpine meadows and pastures—always accompanied by sweeping views of the western Dolomites. Following signpost no. 17, you quickly reach the forest road no. 14, which winds comfortably along the hillside to the lodge Rossalm and then climbs gently into the Schnatzgraben. After crossing the pastures of the Großer Gabler, you reach the lodge Hinteralm (not serviced) and then descend across meadows to the Putzjoch. Here the panorama opens up to the Sass de Putia and the peaks of the Odles—an unforgettable photo moment. The route continues on the alpine road (14A) in a gentle downhill to the Schatzer Hut and then via trail no. 8 to Skihütte. From there, trail no. 17 takes you back to the starting point.
The gondola lift on the Plose operates from mid-May until the end of October. Before mid-May, the high mountain trail remains closed.
