The Ütia Bioch Refuge 2,079 m boasts a long tradition of Ladin hospitality since 1990. Founded as a small ski-restaurant at the top of the ‘Bioch’ chairlift, today it offers a modern experience combining tradition and sustainability. The gastronomic philosophy is based on fresh, local ingredients, emphasising products from the Ladin valleys, with a focus on South Tyrolean wines, thanks to which, in 2020, we were the first hut to be awarded the prized ‘South Tyrolean Wine Culture Award’. More than 1,200 wine labels, 80 % from South Tyrol.Quality catering, wine tastings, special events such as the Gourmet Skisafari, the Wine Skisafari, Cujiné te ütia, Sommelier on the slopes, Saus dl Altonn, thanks to a team of which we are very proud.

The newly built refuge is located at an altitude of 1523 m at the entrance to the beautiful target Zieltal valley in the middle of the untouched landscape of the Texel Group Nature Park. The ideal location of the mountain inn on the Merano High Mountain Trail offers a good stop for young and old. Enjoy local dishes and South Tyrolean hospitality! The Ütia Nagler is located in the beautiful Dolomites of Alta Badia, below the Sasso Santa Croce in Badia. The cuisine of the Ütia Nagler in Badia is a homage to the flavours of South Tyrol. The restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Ladin dishes prepared with care and passion. Among the most popular dishes are the homemade cajincì (stuffed crescents), various types of polenta, eggs and bacon potatoes, apple strudel with vanilla sauce. There is also no shortage of classic dishes such as pasta and steaks. Ice cream sundaes are very popular in the summer. On colder days, hot chocolate, steaming mulled wine and bombardino are always available. The Alfarei family has been running the refuge since 2004. The cooperation and experience of the family make for a particularly friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which pervades the entire refuge.

Near the Sanctuary, at the foot of Mount S. Croce you can discover one of the most famous and old mountain huts of the region. The little church dates back to 1484, while the house was built later in 1718. The mountain hut, where once pilgrims and wayfarers would stop, offers a welcoming and typically local environment, with old lounges, walls completely covered in wood and with the characteristic stone floors. Here you can find the famous "Kaiserschmarren" with bilberry jam, the eggs with speck and potatoes and the polenta with cheese and muschrooms. During the summer season it is also possible to stay overnight.

The "Cason" alpine hut is situated at 5 minutes from the nountain station of the funicular Reciesa. From here you can see a beautiful mountain panorama and you can enjoy the calm. It is also starting point of comfortably tours for families with little children. You get spoil with traditional specialities and homemade products. Open from mit June to mid September. The refuge Roda di Vaèl is located on the saddle of the Ciampaz, at a high of 2283 meters and in the middle of the Catinaccio. Regarding the refuges is this one of the points of reference of this famous mountain group. At the time, when it was enlarged and renovated, was the dining room dedicated to one of the most capable alpinists of the alpine history of the Dolomites: Marino Stenico. Even nowadays are Marino Stenico's climb routes very selective. The refuge is in possession of the SAT (Association of the regional Alpini ) and is run by Roberta Silva, who is always at your disposal to give you some advice for your excursion to one of the exciting metallic fixed rope trails of the " Roda di Vaèl " or " Majarè " or to one of the many beautiful alpine tours. We are opened in summer, from June to October. The refuge offers a restaurant, bar, 50 beds, a large terrace and solarium.

The Schgaguler Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 1905m near the mountain station of the Ortisei / Alpe di Siusi cable car, opened in 1991. The hut is easily reached regardless of the season, whether during a bike tour or hike in summer or as part of a ski tour or snowshoe hike in winter. The spacious terrace is perfect for an outdoor lunch and guests can head to the garden to relax and sunbathe in the deckchairs. There is a playground and a small petting zoo nearby, where rabbits, goats, ponies and even lamas look forward to a visit from the children. The rustic interior is in traditional rustic style and includes a Stube perfect for spending time in good company - often for longer than expected, especially in winter! Tasty homemade traditional South Tyrolean dishes are all freshly prepared using the farm’s own products. The refuge is reachable also by Gardenacia cableway, then about 40 minutes on foot. Completely restored during spring 2009; run by Nagler family of Badia.

Dreamlike scenery near Corvara, on the Pralongià slope The Capanna Nera hut is nestled in a dreamlike landscape in the surroundings of Corvara, located on the Pralongià slope and close to the golf course. It can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. In addition to picturesque views of the Dolomites, the Capanna Nera hut offers gastronomic delicacies from local, Italian and international traditions. Our sun terrace invites you to spend relaxing hours in a magical setting.

The Cason Hut on Resciesa is a charming mountain hut in the Dolomites, just five minutes away from the top station of the Resciesa funicular. It offers breathtaking views and is an ideal starting point for leisurely hikes, also suitable for families. The hut delights its guests with traditional specialties and homemade products.

Mountain hut with gastronomy on the Lüsen Alps

Ütia da Rit mountain hut is located in an amazing territory, among the most famous Dolomites Peaks, and it is an important refreshment point for tourists and travelers. Our mountain hut is in the small village of La Val ("La Valle") at 2000 meters altitude, at the gates of the beautiful Natural Park of Fanes-Sennes-Braies. Our guests can enjoy here the typical South Tyrolean cuisine and wines, both inside and outside the hut. Our tasty but healthy menu offers cold starters, traditional alpine soups, home-made pasta, meat and egg plates, as well as tasty desserts…

The Saltner Hut is open from the beginning of December to Eastern and in summer from Pentecost to the middle of October. We offer a lot of traditional South Tyrol and Italian dishes. The Saltner Hut organise also music events.
