Near the Sanctuary, at the foot of Mount S. Croce you can discover one of the most famous and old mountain huts of the region. The little church dates back to 1484, while the house was built later in 1718.
The mountain hut, where once pilgrims and wayfarers would stop, offers a welcoming and typically local environment, with old lounges, walls completely covered in wood and with the characteristic stone floors.
Here you can find the famous "Kaiserschmarren" with bilberry jam, the eggs with speck and potatoes and the polenta with cheese and muschrooms.
During the summer season it is also possible to stay overnight.
