Refuges dans le Sud-Tyrol

At the foot of the Sassolungo in the Dolomites lies the Emilio Comici Hut – a place where alpine authenticity meets Mediterranean ease. In this unique setting, guests enjoy fresh, honest cuisine: refined fish and seafood dishes in winter, and aromatic herb creations in summer. Whether for an aperitivo on the sunny terrace, a meal in the cozy dining rooms, or while gazing at the Sella Group – the Comici is more than a mountain hut: it is a place filled with soul, passion, and history.

The Wieserhütte, idyllically located in the Altfasstal Valley, is a popular destination and a great starting point for hikes to the Seefeld Lakes and other trails. It is particularly family-friendly, easily accessible with strollers or mountain bikes. The hut offers its own dairy products, cozy evening events, and overnight accommodation – but only during the summer season. In winter, the Wieserhütte is open during school holidays, while outside this period there are some closing days to keep in mind. Please note that overnight stays are not available during the winter months. The Wieserhütte can be reached in approximately 90 minutes from the parking area in the Altfasstal Valley.

Easily accessible on foot – approx. 40 minutes from the arrival of the Col Rodella cablecar, or 1 hour and 15 minutes from Passo Sella Joch – the Sandro Pertini Refuge is an ideal destination for a hike with the family. The refuge is located in a green meadow and offers the perfect resting spot along the Sassolungo/Langkofel route. It is also at the crossroads of a number of trails to and from the Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel, Alpe di Siusi/Seiseralm, Duron Valley, Antermoia Catinaccio/Rosengarten, Dolomites Gardena/Grödner Dolomiten, including protected paths (Schuster) and high altitude hikes (Via Normale della Punta Grohmann/Grohmannspitze, Via Dimai, Via Harrer, Via Normale al Dente del Sassolungo/Zahnkofel, Cima Dantersass, etc.). The refuge, named in memory of President of the Italian Republic, Sandro Pertini, offers refreshments (restaurant and bar) and the possibility to reserve an overnight stay.

At the panoramic Rifugio Maria restaurant, you can delight in tasty culinary offerings while enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view from Sass Pordoi!

At the Soleseid farmhouse you will experience the authenticity of the mountains in a unique setting: a breathtaking panorama that includes the village of San Vigilio di Marebbe and the majestic Dolomites, a natural heritage and perfect setting for a truly relaxing stay. Our cuisine is at the heart of the experience: we offer grilled meat from our own farm, raised with care and attention to offer authentic flavours and the highest quality. In addition to meat dishes, you can also enjoy typical specialities of the South Tyrolean and Ladin tradition, prepared according to local recipes and with ingredients from the region.

Here, where the limestone summits of the Rotwand, the peaks of the Sexten Dolomites and the immense Dreischusterspitze reach up into the skies and seem close enough to touch, every day’s holiday holds a wealth of emotions and adventures…

Mountain hut with gastronomy on the Lüsen Alps

The Brixner Hütte is on the Pfunderer Höhenweg, with continuous warm kitchen and possibility to sleep for 40 people. Open from mid June to mid October. From the Fane Alm to the Brixnerhütte it takes about an hour and 40 minutes.

The guests get delicious Tyrolean and Italian food in the snuggery or on the terrace. Overnight stays are possible.
