The tour in the Vintschger Museum is an immersive experience where you get to experience the valley’s unique features. You’ll learn all about the valley and its inhabitants and gain an overview prehistoric and early history of the Venosta Valley, the immaterial cultural heritage of the irrigation channels, and the story of the Swabian Children and poverty in the valley.

During a guided tour of our winery in St. Martin, many exciting and interesting things await you. We will tell you passionately about the harvest, winemaking and wine and let you share in our art of winemaking. During a tour of our vineyards, you can taste our wines and finally visit our barrique storage. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

Your guide leads you through several stations where she tells about winegrowing, landscape and history. On the way, at the Baron Widmann winery, in the vineyards, at the Castel Turmhof Tiefenbrunner winery and in the Cantina Cortaccia, you can taste 5 typical wines. The walk lasts 3 1/2-4 hours, about 50 minutes of which are spent actually walking.

Discover the current collection of South Tyrol’s first female master distiller, experience the authentic distilling process and taste select wines and spirits in the 14th century tower cellar. Ripened in the sun, distilled in a copper vat: at the Gaudenz Farm Distillery only first-class, hand-picked fruit finds its way inside. Williams pears, apples, grapes, Vinschgau apricots and quinces are transformed into the finest, single-origin fruit brandies by hand using the keen instinct of the master distiller, which, with their authentic flavour are a true delight for the taste buds. Christine Schönweger, farmer and South Tyrol’s only female master distiller, describes the path she has taken from a love of fruit, via the art of distilling, to genuine and authentic indulgence, with a guided tour of the Gaudenz farm distillery in the Gaudententurm Residence plus tasting of the farm's own spirits.

After visiting the marble world and taking a short stroll through the marble village, you will be culinary tempted during the chocolate and praline tasting.

Wine tasting and visit to the winery Haidenhof Tscherms. The hillside Haidenhof farm is known for ist first-class wines. The vineyards on ist slopes yield no less than seven Grape varietals, at 16.00 (with registration, T +39 0473 564 451).

In German language. From end of march til Mid August. First discover the old and new cellars of the Terlan winery, founded in 1893, see how the wine is made and how the bottles are bottled. It is strictly forbidden to bring animals, regardless of their species, for viewing and tasting.

It is the most powerful wild animal in our forests. Hubert Plankensteiner has been breeding red deer for years and knows a lot about their habitat, behavior, and other characteristics. He may be able to provide an accompanied feeding.

Today we get out in nature! On our exciting voyage of exploration we visit the fruit tree meadow at the Koasa Hof in St. Johann. Delicious fruits such as apples, pears and plums grow there and we’ll discover how to make jam, juice and apple rings from them. Maybe we’ll even get to taste some ourselves! As well as fruit trees, there are also some small animals on the farm – for example chickens and rabbits. Together we’ll find out how to harvest and process fruit and how important nature is for our food. So pack your rucksack and bring a good mood with you – and let’s have a fruity adventure!

The tour through the open-air area leads past historic log buildings such as the grain mill, the granary, the baking oven and the farmhouse, as well as the loden fulling mill, the apiary and the bowling alley. The guided tour takes one hour and starts at the museum entrance. The guided tour is only available in German.

Activities with the ambassadors of the Ladin tradition. An experience that plunges us into an ancient world that has been kept alive by people who love their land and care for it with tenacity and dedication beyond imagination. You will not only see the farmers at work, but also help take the animals out of the stable and cut the grass with a scythe while listening to the old stories of the farm. Finally, on this historic mountain farm in Badia, you can have lunch the old-fashioned way with historical Ladin recipes prepared on the spot. Delicious! Information and reservation at the tourist offices or online within the day before (limited places). During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

Simple creativity with just pine cones, stones and nuts. At the Wuschlpuschl Nature Workshop, natural objects collected by the kids are transformed into imaginative works of art.

A day full of adventure awaits children during a visit to Fallerhof or with horse whisperer Susi! In the morning, Susi introduces children to the world of horses. They explore the stable, learn exciting facts, groom and care for the horses and ponies and experience riding. In the afternoon, children discover farm life at Fallerhof. They learn where food comes from, what sustainable living means and spend time with the animals.

The St. Valentin church surrounded by meadows and fields, with the Schlern massif in the background, the small church of St. Valentin offers a real idyllic scene. The construction is of great historical and artistic value with precious frescos from the 14th and the 15th century. A peculiarity (among others): the painter has tried to include the local landscape as background in its representation of the three Kings. Together with hiking guide Paula we make our way to St. Valentin church (walk approx. 20 minutes). This is followed by a guided tour of the church and then back to Seis. Fortress Mitterberg Fortress Mitterberg and Fortress Haideck form the "Barricade of Sexten". This building is a magnific example of defensive fortification. The non profit association "Bellum Aquilarum ONLUS" offers guided tours of the museum “Fortress Mitterberg” Four-legged friends are not allowed to participate in this event.

Guided hike to the outdoor Museum "Anderter Alpe" at Rotwand / Croda Rossa It was the scene of a lot of events during World War I. Today it ist possible to see shelters, trenches and trenches along the path. Four-legged friends are not allowed to participate in this event.
