Primary and secondary school children from Val Gardena participated in the Giro d'Italia drawing competition. A jury selected the 30 most beautiful, creative and original drawings. The 30 winning pictures will be exhibited on the town hall square of S. Cristina.

A romantic torchlight hike awaits all hikers who enjoy walking. Meeting point with the hiking guide Simone is at the tourist office Deutschnofen. From there, participants must drive independently by car to Oberkofl Hof (5min). The hike starts there and leads past the Oberkofl Hof through a forest path to the mystical church of St. Agatha, which is located in the middle of the forest in a clearing. The path is manageable without much difference in altitude and Simone introduces the participants to the legendary history of the church and the mystical place. We will guide you to eight especially beautiful and powerful cultural places in our region, all of which are marked and numbered on the map. There is an appropriate clue for each place. You need to find a wooden template with a picture on it and then copy it into the correct space on your sheet. Once every location has been visited and all of the images found and correctly entered on the map, the map can be handed in to one of the tourist information offices in Hafling, Mölten or Jenesien. With our hiking guide Helmuth we start at the village square in Laion and hike over the Walther from the Vogelweide trail towards Novale. We visit some stations about its history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous Minnesinger. Arriving at the Castle Forte, we visit the former home of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castle complexes in South Tyrol. The Biathlon Centre at the the Martelltal valley is located at 1,700 m. It is one of the most modern biathlon centres in the Alpine region, and snow is guaranteed here. Ready to take a trip into the past? 280 million years ago, a supervolcano dominated the center of the present-day Trentino-Alto Adige region. Mighty porphyry deposits still testify to its activity, while other rock layers interspersed tell of periods of calm, during which plants and animals settled. Some of them left deep traces. Using fossils, animal models and a simulation of the supervolcano, we will bring this lost world to life. Starting March 17 at the South Tyrol Museum of Nature.

Shuttle Val di Fosse - Every Wednesday a shuttle minibus takes you from Naturno to the Vorderkaser parking lot. From there you can hike through the charming Val di Fosse. The Alpine adventure trail is considered one of the most beautiful sections of the Merano High Mountain Trail and offers unique views of the mountain giants of the Texel Group. Limited booster seats are available for children. Dogs are only transported on request and with a muzzle. Bicycle transportation is not possible. The return journey must be booked separately.
