Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings. All participants will receive the recipes of the South Tyrolean specialities to take home. What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises. The guided tour will be in German and Italian.

Sonja will provide you with information about the South Tyrolean Alpine apple, variety overview, cultivation methods, field work, processing, and marketing. You can expect a tasting of apples and apple juice from a local producer, along with a short walk through nearby orchards. Duration is approximately 1.5 hours. Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. During the guided tour with our apple expert you follow the storage, sorting, packaging and loading. A professional mountain guide accompanies you on the "Knott" and gives you important tips for safe climbing. Climbing on the via ferrata "Knott" is reserved for families and children form 7 years. With Claudia's "light cuisine" recipes, we can cook healthy, beneficial dishes with ingredients that we can adapt to the season, our mood and are easy to prepare and cook. After all, we also want to enjoy cooking in everyday life. Finally, we will savour the dishes together, talk shop and round off the week in good company.

The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. Traditional farmhouse bread straight from the stone oven simply tastes delicious. You can experience how it is made every second Friday from mid-May to the beginning of October at the Untereggerhof. And maybe you'll be lucky and the innkeeper and farmer Gottfried will tell you the recipe. In any case, you can also try the freshly baked farmhouse bread.

The full moon has something magical for us humans - we like to let ourselves be enchanted by this special atmosphere on a full moon night. And it is in this spirit that the Star Village organises the Full Moon Event with selected restaurants. Afterwards, our guides will lead you through the historic centre of Steinhaus, a unique sight in South Tyrol that was created thanks to the mining industry. The striking red houses, such as the factor house, the Gassegg residence and the church Maria Loreto, as well as the smelting hut are explained. With our hiking guide Helmuth we start at the village square in Laion and hike over the Walther from the Vogelweide trail towards Novale. We visit some stations about its history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous Minnesinger. Arriving at the Castle Forte, we visit the former home of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castle complexes in South Tyrol. From Naturno you cycle comfortably along the Adige cycle path to Merano. From the Thermenplatz square, head eastwards through the Elisabeth Park into the Passeier Valley. Mostly flat, with a slight incline, you can enjoy the marvellous landscape along the Passeier cycle path (19 km). The refreshing air of the Passer accompanies you along the entire cycle path to St. Leonhard. After 1945, many bunkers remained operational during the "Cold War" until they were decommissioned in the 1990s and transferred to the Province of South Tyrol. Some of these defensive structures hold historical significance, offering unique architectural insights today. The bunker at Töll was acquired by the municipalities of Algund and Marling and has been made accessible for guided visits.
