"How did our ancestors live? A guided tour (german or italian) of the Museum Steinegg immerses you in the everyday life of past centuries. Lovingly furnished parlours, chambers and craft workshops tell of hard work, old customs and a life in the rhythm of nature. Experience over 1000 years of Tyrolean history, customs and traditions on 1000 m². Above all, the art treasures of religious and secular origin give the museum a special flavour and make it unique in South Tyrol. An animal exhibition is a source of amazement, especially for children. A new feature is the opportunity to be told directly by historical witnesses how they experienced the past. These exciting interviews can be shown on various screens. Important information: The museum opens on Palm Sunday and remains open until the end of October. Visits are only possible with a guided tour in german or italian languague. These take place from Tuesday to Friday at 10:10 and 11:10 and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 17:00. After a 2-minute ride by private car and a subsequent hike (approx. 20 minutes) you reach the excavation site, where you will search for Geodes of Teis under the expert supervision of a collector. Note: Due to Paul Fischnaller's advanced age, the excursion will be led by another experienced collector. Tools are provided by the museum. Hiking boots recommended. A romantic torchlight hike awaits you! The meeting point with Simone, who accompanies the hike, is at the tourist office in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. From there, you will need to drive independently to the Oberkofl farm, which takes about five minutes. The easy hike starts there and leads you past the farm along an idyllic forest path to the mystical St. Agatha Church, which lies in a clearing in the woods. The trail is easy to walk, with no major elevation changes. Along the way, Simone will share fascinating stories about the legendary church and this special place. Orienteering is known as the „forest sport“, an outdoor adventure in areas of unspoilt natural beauty. You set off from Piz Sorega and with the help of the map and compass provided, you have to try and identify a precise course in the shortest time as possible, with check points called “lanterns”, located in the nearby meadows and woods. Information and reservation at the tourist offices or online by the day before (limited places). During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

To finally be a knight or a damsel of the castle! Wouldn’t that be something special for you? At the Taufers Castle you can dress up and live a day in the Middle Ages. Do you want to personally experience how, years ago, one lived in the castle, how they fought, danced and played? Now things are getting tasty! Together we go into the dewy garden where we pick the freshest of fresh ingredients and then call in at the farm to collect eggs before getting down to work. We cook local, simple and unique dishes in the cookery school of our indulgence ambassador, Tina Marcelli. Some things are worth an early rise, even on holiday. You will be rewarded with the unique experience of an Alpine sunrise. We will take the cable car to reach an altitude of 2,000 metres and set off in the dark, experiencing how the new day arises from the silence of the night one step at a time. After an easy hike (approx 40 minutes, 130 meters elevation gain) to the Steinermandl panoramic platform, we will savour the magical moment when the first sun rays bathe the mountains in their bright light. The experience is rounded off by a stopover for refreshments at a mountain hut. (Consumption against payment) The descent by cable car is available from 8:30 a.m. Warm clothing is recommended. Costs for the cable car: With the Almencard, participation is free from 02.07. to 11.07.2025 and from 15.09. to 01.10.2025. On this exciting adventure trip with the Stelvio miller and his Nörggele, you will learn about the life of the miller and his mill. Accompanied by legends and various games about the mill, you will learn about the processing of the grain through to the finished bread. Route: The meeting point is the parking lot at the fishing lake in Stilfs, from where we will travel by private car to the Vallatsches farms. Together with the Stelvio miller, we walk to the Vallatsches mill and back again. The trip takes a total of 3 hours, with a pure walking time of around 30 minutes. The nature park rangers show you the animals that live here, how to recognise their tracks and how they live in their habitat. Today we get out in nature! On our exciting voyage of exploration we visit the fruit tree meadow at the Koasa Hof in St. Johann. Delicious fruits such as apples, pears and plums grow there and we’ll discover how to make jam, juice and apple rings from them. Maybe we’ll even get to taste some ourselves! As well as fruit trees, there are also some small animals on the farm – for example chickens and rabbits. Together we’ll find out how to harvest and process fruit and how important nature is for our food. So pack your rucksack and bring a good mood with you – and let’s have a fruity adventure!

From Laion, we take a taxi to the starting point at the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut. From there, we hike with our guide Herbert up to Resciesa. Upon reaching the summit cross, we can enjoy the first rays of sunshine and the breathtaking view. Afterwards, we return to the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut, where a delicious breakfast awaits us (not included). After breakfast, we continue our hike back to Laion.
