Impressive loop hike with stunning views of the Dolomites. The main focus of the hike is the geological history of the Dolomites surrounding the Sass de Putia (Peitlerkofel). Participants will also learn about the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site and the protected areas in South Tyrol that were key to the region’s recognition as a World Heritage Site. Organized by the Department for Nature, Landscape and Spatial Development of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol and the Dolomites UNESCO Foundation. The Reinswald Band from the picturesque Sarentino Valley will perform a special concert in Selva di Val Gardena. Founded in 1921, the band has been dedicated for over a century to preserving and promoting the musical traditions of their hometown. With its 41 active musicians, the Reinswald Band, under the direction of conductor Martin Rungger and president Joachim Thaler, will present an evening filled with musical variety and lively performances. Shopping on hot summer eventings - June to August is the time of the "long shopping evenings" in the centre of Lana. These evenings are a meeting point for locals and guests to stroll and browse through the shops. Shopping until late in the evening - this is what is on offer in Lana on the balmy summer evenings from 29 June to 17 August 2023: In the pedestrian zone Lana am Gries, visitors can look forward to eight "long shopping evenings" with shops open until 9 pm. The music bands of the valley have maintained our valuable tradition for decades. They play an important role in the social life of the village and give many young people the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents. Tonight, the melodies of the San Cassiano music band will resonate through the village, creating a special atmosphere. In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the event hall J.B. Rinna. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

On this exciting adventure hike with the Stelvio miller and his Nörggele, you will learn about the life of the miller and his mill. Accompanied by legends and various games about the mill, you will learn about the processing of the grain through to the finished bread. Route: The meeting point is the parking lot at the fishing lake in Stilfs, from where we will travel by private car to the Vallatsches farms. Together with the Stelvio miller, we walk to the Vallatsches mill and back again. The hike takes a total of 3 hours, with a pure walking time of around 30 minutes. The fire brigade in South Tyrol is made up of volunteers, willing citizens who work hard to protect residents and tourists. In this evening demonstration, you can see the impressive rescue manoeuvres the fire brigade practises in order to always be ready to help.

The tour through the open-air area leads past historic log buildings such as the grain mill, the granary, the baking oven and the farmhouse, as well as the loden fulling mill, the apiary and the bowling alley.
