We are pleased to invite you to a concert by the Villnöß Music Band, taking place in Selva di Val Gardena. Enjoy an evening of music, tradition, and passion with one of South Tyrol’s oldest and most celebrated ensembles. First mentioned in 1801 during the consecration of the parish church of St. Peter, the Villnöß Music Band is one of the oldest in South Tyrol. After surviving the turmoil of World War I and the Fascist era, the band was revitalized in 1946 with the adoption of its current traditional costume. Under the direction of Toni Profanter in the 1980s, it reached new musical heights, including performances at the 1999 Austrian Federal Wind Band Competition and the 2010 concert evaluation in Merano. Since 2014, the band has been led by Hans Pircher. In 2022, it achieved national acclaim by winning the ÖBV Wind Orchestra Competition in Ossiach.

On July 24, 2025, Speikboden in the Skiworld Ahrntal hosts a special day dedicated to via ferrata. Whether you're a local, a family, a holiday guest, or a mountain enthusiast – this day is all about nature, adventure, and community. The via ferrata routes at Speikboden are easily accessible by cable car and range in difficulty from grade “A” to “C” – perfect for both first-timers and seasoned climbers!
Four routes, one goal: to inspire! From the “Pirate” route for children and families to the more demanding “Speikboden” via ferrata – ideal conditions await all mountain lovers and those curious to try their first ferrata adventure. On this day, the South Tyrolean mountains will be experienced in a truly unique and memorable way.

A varied workshop program will accompany the event: Mountain first aid – what to do in case of emergency Children on via ferrata – correct safety gear use & tips for parents First steps for beginners – from theory to outdoor experience Tips for advanced climbers – gripping techniques and more

In addition, various outdoor brands will be present at the top station (2,000 m) with info stands, product innovations, and opportunities to test gear. From there, all four via ferrata routes can be easily reached on foot.

Summer on the Ritten also this year is enriched by a series of evening events called "Rittner Sunnenseitn". There are three evenings under the stars and each evening is dedicated to a different motto. Today we get out in nature! On our exciting voyage of exploration we visit the fruit tree meadow at the Koasa Hof in St. Johann. Delicious fruits such as apples, pears and plums grow there and we’ll discover how to make jam, juice and apple rings from them. Maybe we’ll even get to taste some ourselves! As well as fruit trees, there are also some small animals on the farm – for example chickens and rabbits. Together we’ll find out how to harvest and process fruit and how important nature is for our food. So pack your rucksack and bring a good mood with you – and let’s have a fruity adventure!

The music bands of the valley have maintained our valuable tradition for decades. They play an important role in the social life of the village and give many young people the opportunity to discover and develop their musical talents. On this evening, you will hear the melodies of the music band from La Villa. In case of bad weather, the concert will be cancelled. Today you have the opportunity to get to know a working farm with all its animals and make your own farm products such as butter and cheese. Tasting the homemade products is just as important as telling stories about the farm. Cost per person: 15,00 €

Lungiarù is a small village nestled in the Dolomites, a hidden gem where ancient traditions are perpetuated from generation to generation, keeping a thousand-year-old culture alive. The symbol of this rich history is the Valle dei Mulini, a path that follows the course of a stream, whose power is harnessed by ancient mills. A market is held at the nearby Lüch de Vanc farm and an old mill in the valley is back in operation, just as it was over a hundred years ago. The mill day is fun for everyone, with horse riding, children's activities and walks, offering a fantastic Thursday for the whole family. You can also discover how a watermill works and watch bread being made according to the traditional Ladin method.

Along the way, you'll get to know our natural surroundings, experience exciting adventures and, you've reached your destination! There is plenty of time to enjoy a nice lunch at the Wurzer Alm; the lunch is not included in the price. Afterwards you hike back to the starting point. Well, are you in?

Elisabeth from the Moschwaldalm in Hafling has the right knack and is happy to share her knowledge with you. Together you will prepare South Tyrolean dumplings in the traditional way. The location offers a special ambience: the Moschwald Alm, which is nestled between forest and meadows at 1,750m above sea level. The prepared dishes are then tasted.

The journey begins, by taking the public bus to Ortisei. Our tour begins with a funicular ride up to the Resciesa (2,200m). From the mountain station, we follow trail no. 35 to the Brogles Hut (2,054m). Behind the hut, the trail merges into the Adolf-Munkel-Trail. At the foot of the Sas Rigais, we continue until we reach the Odle Mountain Hut (1,996m). After a well-deserved and leisurely break, we descend comfortably to Ranui (1,350m). Come along to the games afternoon for children on the village square, organized by the "Jugenddienst Bozen-Land"! Experience lots of fun with different games that are waiting to be explored by you. Admission is free and no registration required! In case of thunderstorm or heavy rain the event will not take place.

The via ferrata Brigata Tridentina, one of the most iconic climbing routes in the Dolomites, is going to be illuminated under the starry sky of late July. An annual tradition, thanks to the tireless efforts of the local 'Croderes' group of mountaineers, who climb up with torches to illuminate the route, starting from the slopes of the Sella Group and reaching the Pisciadú refuge. This route was opened in the 1960s by the Alpini of the Brigata Tridentina. You should come and admire this spectacle in the church square in Colfosco, the best spot to enjoy the illumination. The Colfosco-Corvara music band will add a touch of charm with their enchanting melodies. The volunteer fire brigade of Colfosco will also be there, providing food and drinks. Please note that in the event of bad weather, the illumination will be cancelled to ensure the safety of mountaineers. The band concert will take place in Corvara's event hall in the event of bad weather. The weekend from the 25th to 26th of July, the traditional village festival called "Kalterer Marktfest" takes place in Kaltern. A festival in the whole city centre with music and dishes for everyone.

The Aschler Kirchtag – a Special Celebration in Vöran The Aschler Kirchtag is one of the most cherished festivals in Vöran, inviting both locals and guests to enjoy a lively and festive weekend. The event kicks off on Friday evening with a vibrant party, where a DJ sets the mood and keeps the crowd entertained. On Saturday evening, the band LÄTS FETZ gets the tent rocking, followed by a DJ who keeps the party going. Sunday begins with a traditional morning gathering, featuring live music from the Stadtkapelle Bobingen. A true highlight is the grand parade at 2:00 PM, featuring numerous local clubs and associations. The colorful procession moves from the craft zone to the main festival grounds in Vöran. Afterwards, the Vöran brass band will perform a festive open-air concert starting at 3:00 PM. The celebration concludes with a performance by the Mölten Schuhplattler, whose traditional dances provide a fitting and joyful end to the festivities. The Volunteer Fire Department of Vöran warmly welcomes all visitors and looks forward to an unforgettable festival weekend!

Experience the nature park in Ötzi's footsteps The children hike with the nature park rangers from the Vernagt meeting point into the Tisental valley in the Texel Group Nature Park. This is where Ötzi, the famous glacier man, travelled 5,300 years ago. We will look for traces of animals that are characteristic of the forest and mountain areas and try to observe them with binoculars. We will identify plants, herbs and minerals and consider what this area might have looked like around 5,000 years ago. A playful and exciting search for answers can begin! The ranger days are aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12 and participation is free of charge!
