Every Friday, herbal experts organise outdoor workshops along the herb promenade in Welschnofen | Nova Levante. Some workshops in between are dedicated entirely to children. The topics of the workshops are as varied as nature itself and vary from week to week. With their joy of making music, the bands enliven the social life of our mountain villages. The preservation of these traditions is only possible thanks to the volunteers of all ages and professions who are the heart of these associations. Hike in the crispmorning air across the dewy earth to a breath-taking lookout point, guided by our National Park rangers. From Laion, we take a taxi to the starting point at the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut. From there, we hike with our guide Herbert up to Resciesa. Upon reaching the summit cross, we can enjoy the first rays of sunshine and the breathtaking view. Afterwards, we return to the "Ramitzler Schwaige" hut, where a delicious breakfast awaits us (not included). After breakfast, we continue our hike back to Laion. The music band Avigna invites you to the traditional "Kirchtag in Afing" on 19th and 20th July 2025!

When walking in nature with your eyes open, you will find lots of materials that can be used to create surprising things. In the small workshop in the centre of Ortisei, pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones, and other natural materials are used to build small works of art together with the children. Thanks to this workshop the creations can be taken home and remind even after the holidays what great things can be made with such simple materials and a little imagination. During the workshop we build together a new home for useful insects made of natural materials. All children are welcome to participate. The price will be 15,00€ - 20,00€.

When beauty meets goodness, the celebration becomes irresistible. This time, the magic will take place again at the Pisciadú Waterfalls. You can easily reach us from Corvara or Colfosco by following trail 28. Our local chefs will enchant you with traditional Ladin dishes, both sweet and savory, prepared with passion. On three Wednesday evenings the church square in Welschnofen is once again transformed into a meeting place to enjoy the balmy summer nights. Local bands with people from the Val d'Ega ensure a good mood and good cheer. Various stalls offer local specialities such as Schlutzer, Krapfen, Strauben, Welschnofner beer and much more, inviting you to get to know South Tyrol from its culinary side. A special highlight is always the Schuhplattler (traditional folk dancer), who delight young and old with their "Platteln". The little guests can let off steam to their heart's content at the children's program and do handicrafts with natural materials, sow flowers or transform themselves into lions and butterflies at the children's face painting. The via ferrata Brigata Tridentina, one of the most iconic climbing routes in the Dolomites, is going to be illuminated under the starry sky of late July. An annual tradition, thanks to the tireless efforts of the local 'Croderes' group of mountaineers, who climb up with torches to illuminate the route, starting from the slopes of the Sella Group and reaching the Pisciadú refuge. This route was opened in the 1960s by the Alpini of the Brigata Tridentina. You should come and admire this spectacle in the church square in Colfosco, the best spot to enjoy the illumination. The Colfosco-Corvara music band will add a touch of charm with their enchanting melodies. Please note that in the event of bad weather, the illumination will be cancelled to ensure the safety of mountaineers.
