The hike starts at the village square in Lajen/Laion. From here you walk together with the hiking guide Helmuth via Fonteklaus to Freins. Arrived at Petra's Honey Hut you come to the first tasting. Different honey variations are tasted and different products are discovered. All are self-produced and processed. Now it goes back to Fonteklaus where lunch is already waiting. After lunch we continue to Lusenegg where the taxi will take us to Novale/Ried. Here is the second stop - jam. At the Zinegg farm there is a wide variety of jams to taste. Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion. With our hiking guide Helmuth we start at the village square in Laion and hike over the Walther from the Vogelweide trail towards Novale. We visit some stations about its history and make a short detour to the birthplace of the famous Minnesinger. Arriving at the Castle Forte, we visit the former home of Oswald von Wolkenstein, one of the most impressive castle complexes in South Tyrol. At the end of the tour we walk down towards Ponte Gardena until Laion/Ried for a stop at the Törggelehof and from there take the public bus to Laion. When flowers, leaves, bark, resins and roots are incensed, essential oils are released and rise with the smoke. They can have an effect on our well-being. Get to know individual incense substances (flowers and blossoms) on this walk and immerse yourself in the magic of the individual scents.

The spring hike on the sunny slope of Barbian leads past fields of flowers, streams, chestnut trees and historic buildings to "Dreikirchen". Meeting place at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Hiking time: 3,5 hours, return at around 4pm, easy hike, good footwear, rain shelter. For members of the Tourist Association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns and Villanders the hiking is free, for non-members it costs 8,00€ each. As the third most important "farm" animal (after cattle and pigs), bees pollinate 80% of our crops. On 1 May, the Blossom Festival takes place in Natz with a culinary mile and colorful supporting program. Enjoy the first warm rays of sunshine of the year and be enchanted by the various stands on the theme of blossom.

Bread baking at the Museum: From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a demonstration of how bread was baked according to a traditional Passeiertal Valley recipes. Visitors can watch our expert Museum bakers at work as they answer your questions and happily trade tips with those in the know. Participation with tasting and mini-guided tour is included in the admission price. The guided tour is only available in German and Italian.

The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. Additional tours: in August also on Thursdays from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Participants: minimum 4 and maximum 20 people Registration deadline: one day before by 5:00 p.m.

On May 4 2025 Naturno invites you again to the South Tyrolean Bacon Day. Enjoy innovative bacon dishes in a great ambience: children's program, showcocking and music, as well as a small specialiätenmarkt around the South Tyrolean bacon. The event starts at 10:00 a.m. at the town hall square in Naturno and takes place in any weather.

The solemn procession into Bressanone Cathedral begins at 9 a.m. for the festive mass with Bishop Ivo Muser. At around 10.15 a.m., the procession of St. Cassian begins with the holy relics through the streets of the town, accompanied by local bands and the Brixen citizens' band, the marksmen, clubs and associations. The procession is opened by the processional flag and the parish of Vahrn. This is because the people of Vahrn saved the relics of the diocesan saints from theft and desecration during the French period.
