Our adventure begins in the Visitor Centre! During a short guided tour we will discover the Dolomites. How did they form? Is it true that they used to be in the sea? What will they become in the future? Why are they so special? How many things are there to learn about these fascinating mountains! And then everyone out! Our adventure continues with an excursion to Lake Toblach. During this hike we can immerse ourselves deeply in nature and learn a lot about it. What are plecoptera larvae? What does their presence indicate? Which animals live in the forest? Do carnivorous plants also exist in the mountains? Many topics will be covered. Each participant will be given an observation magnifier, do you know it? These are useful jars with a magnifying glass on the lid, an indispensable tool for field research. When walking in nature with your eyes open, you will find lots of materials that can be used to create surprising things. In the small workshop in the centre of Ortisei, pebbles, moss, seeds, wood, leaves, pinecones, and other natural materials are used to build small works of art together with the children. Thanks to this workshop the creations can be taken home and remind even after the holidays what great things can be made with such simple materials and a little imagination. During the workshop we build together a new home for useful insects made of natural materials. All children are welcome to participate. The price will be 15,00 €.

The Peter Mayr Pfeffersberg band is one of the most outstanding chapels in South Tyrol. Since 1958, the “Pfeffersberger” have repeatedly participated in scoring games at district and national music festivals in Germany and abroad - to date, there are 20 of them. Initially you started in the intermediate level, later in the upper level and finally in the highest level and always achieved excellent results. The music band Peter Mayr Pfeffersberg has been led by conductor Bernhard Reifer since 2016. Reifer, born in 1973, comes from our own ranks and has been active as a drummer for decades. With the musical direction of the brass band Frener & Reifer Pfeffersberg, he earned his first spurs as a conductor, extremely meritoriously. Numerous top positions at the European Brass Band Championships and numerous successful concerts at home and abroad bear witness to these great years.
