At the Christmas workshop we make Christmas decoration. The participation is free of charge, no registration needed.

This light is carried by children into the hearts of the people in our village during the afternoon “Marende” (snack) time, in various corners of the village. It will be a moment of music, reflection, and local flavors. Angels and shepherds will bring the message of Christmas... I case o inclement weather, the event will be postponed to Saturday, 20 December 2025.

Seis am Schlern is getting ready for a magical Advent and Christmas season!

In addition to the ice rink in the village square with skate rentals, there will be fascinating magic and fire shows, great live bands, contemplative Advent concerts, and atmospheric Christmas stories, providing a varied program. A winter experience for young and old alike!

With skilful hands and a little imagination, the children transform recycled paper into sparkling Christmas decorations – all in the spirit of origami art. The result is a collection of unique items that not only adorn the tree, but also demonstrate how creative sustainability can be.

Skiing at sunrise! It's sunrise at Mutegg and you're the first to stand before the untouched, freshly groomed slopes. What a wonderful morning atmosphere! In December and January, the Schwemmalm ski area offers this special highlight and opens the ski area every Saturday before sunrise. Workshops and entertainment for children. Christmas is a time full of excitement, especially for children. That's why Merano Christmas has created a place for their imagination and creativity. On the Upper Passer Promenade (near the Post Bridge), you will find Goldy's Cottage, the mascot of Merano Christmas, which welcomes its little guests aged 4 and up during the weekends and Christmas holidays. Christmas carols played by the brass band of the Lengmoos music band on the church square in Lengmoos at 10.45 a.m.

The golden autumn has given up its colorful place and left the stage to winter for the most contemplative time of the year. With a promising tone, lights and angels, Christmas trees and a small Christmas market announce the holiday season in Kaltern, which makes the most of its smaller size with nothing lacking. A contemplative village stroll if desired, enjoying wine and fine treats in festive garb, embedded in culinary traditions with both old customs and new practices that will join them. A celebration of joy, sharing, and community, surrounded by music and hospitality in the heart of Kaltern.

The Krippenverein St. Martin (Nativity Association of St. Martin/S. Martino) invites you to a special exhibition. Historic nativity scenes and lovingly crafted pieces showcase the diversity of nativity art. Nativity blessing at 11 am.

Village Square, from 10 am: Christmas market
Handmade products, sparkling lights, and festive scents invite you to stroll and enjoy. Various vendors present their lovingly crafted creations.

During the culinary winter-weeks "The Alpine Table", numerous mountain huts across the holiday area Gitschberg Jochtal invite you to experience alpine cuisine at its most authentic. From 14–21 December 2025 and 15–22 March 2026, participating huts serve special dishes prepared exclusively with regional ingredients and offered outside the regular menu. Each hut interprets local products in its own unique way, creating unforgettable moments of culinary enjoyment in the heart of the winter paradise. A culinary experience that harmoniously combines tradition, regionality, and the cozy atmosphere of winter mountain huts.
