Anna-Maria from the Kronlechnerhof farm is a farmer with passion. On her farm in Welschnofen | Nova Levante there are various animals and in summer she has a colourful garden with all types of vegetables and fruits. After a short tour of the farm we cook together various types of dumplings with the farm products. Finally, we taste together the dumplings. All participants will receive the recipes of the South Tyrolean specialities to take home. An exciting, informative and entertaining circular hike in a culturally rich settlement area rich with a visit to the rustic farm Ausluger (12th century) and its charming farm shop where you can buy the farm's own products which are produced under the seal of quality "Roter Hahn" from 100% regional production. In a short bus ride we sustainably reach the beautiful market town of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo (810m/starting point). On partly unmarked unknown paths, walking through meadows and forests, accompanied by beautiful views of Brunneck/Brunico and the Rieserferner group, we cross the Onsberg (939m) and reach the farm "Ausluger", including a visit to the rustic farm, located in the idyllic village of St. Martin/San Martino. After our stay we pass the village characterized by the striking Michelsburg and farms and reach the western end of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo. In the face of the imposing Sonnenburg/Castelbadia we hike to the beautiful village of the same name (830 m). An exciting traverse under the Sonnenburger Kopf (937) through the "Hazelnut Tunnel" awaits us. With a magnificent view over the valley widening of St. Lorenzen/San Lorenzo we reach the last section of the hike. This leads us along the rushing Rienz back to the starting point. Traditional farmhouse bread straight from the stone oven simply tastes delicious. You can experience how it is made every second Friday from mid-May to the beginning of October at the Untereggerhof. And maybe you'll be lucky and the innkeeper and farmer Gottfried will tell you the recipe. In any case, you can also try the freshly baked farmhouse bread.

On International Museum Day there is an Open Day at the Steinegg Museum. On a tour you can experience over 1000 years of Tyrolean history, customs and traditions on 1000 m² in this unique museum. An animal exhibition will especially amaze children's eyes. On International Museum Day, museum visitors will be able to watch interviews with historical witnesses for the first time (in german and italian). These interviews will be played on various screens. This project was initiated in summer 2023 and has set itself the task of recording the knowledge and experiences of the older population of the municipality of Karneid. Shuttle Val di Fosse - A shuttle minibus takes you from Naturns to the Vorderkaser parking lot. From there you can hike through the charming Val di Fosse. The Alpine adventure trail is considered one of the most beautiful sections of the Merano High Mountain Trail and offers unique views of the mountain giants of the Texel Group. This impressive hike runs along the sunny slope of Barbian over the new bridge to Saubach and down the valley to Kollmann. Meeting place at 10am at the Information Office Barbian. Stop at Oberweger in Kollmann.. Hiking time: 3,5 hours, return at around 4pm, easy-medium hike, good footwear, rain shelter. This hike takes us to the Nature Park Puez - Odle, part of the Dolomites Unesco World Heritage.
We will walk alongside the majestic Puez Group, at the bottom of its peaks Cima Dodici, Capuziner and Piz Duleda.
Reaching Fontanacia at the end of the valley, we will be surrounded by th magical silence of the pale mountains.

We will return via the Medalges meadows, konwn for their colourful flora.

A romantic torchlight hike awaits you! The meeting point with Simone, who accompanies the hike, is at the tourist office in Deutschnofen | Nova Ponente. From there, you will need to drive independently to the Oberkofl farm, which takes about five minutes. The easy hike starts there and leads you past the farm along an idyllic forest path to the mystical St. Agatha Church, which lies in a clearing in the woods.
