Participants can experience the thrill of wild water on the Adige River in specially rafts, guided by professional instructors from the outdoor activity organization "Acquaterra". A shuttle service will bring our guests from Algund Town Hall to Kastelbell in the Vinschgau Valley, the starting point of the tour.

The ascent to Sas dla Para above the Fodara Vedla hut at 2,460 m offers a breathtaking view up to Cortina d’Ampezzo. Observe the shimmering roofs of the houses in the distance and experience the feeling of freedom, like the Alpine choughs dancing in the rhythm of the wind over your heads.

Discover the history of the miners on an easy family hike The Miners' Trail follows the existing hiking trail from the Rosskopf mountain station via the Telfer Almen to the miners' settlement on Telfer Berg, which then leads into the Ridnaun High Trail. Thematic panels have been set up at selected locations along the trail to explain the historical aspect. The family-friendly hike is rewarded with breathtaking views. At Tholerhof, both young and old, have the opportunity to gain their first riding experiences and get a feel for sitting in the saddle of these fascinating and powerful Haflinger horses and Shetland ponies. After riding, children can help with grooming and taking care of the horses. For more experienced riders, Tholerhof offers great rides in the forest around Aschbach. From high up on the horse, you'll see the surroundings from a more impressive perspective.

The special exhibition at Taufers Castle deals with the medieval theme of "popular belief", which combines religious aspects with superstition. Curated by Marie Rubner, it can be seen from March 29 to November 3, 2024.
The exhibition shows a view of the world that was influential until the Enlightenment and is still influential today. It does not judge, but provides insights into religious customs, rituals and the belief in otherworldly powers.
Popular belief sought to harness otherworldly powers in order to achieve safety, health and salvation.
The exhibition presents texts, exhibits and images, including unicorns, basilisks and thinkers.
Although it does not draw any conclusions, the exhibition opens our eyes to the importance of popular beliefs in society. It also shows how the focus on popular belief affects historical conflicts of faith.
It becomes clear that popular belief filled gaps in the Christian understanding of faith by turning to powers beyond. At the same time, the Catholic understanding of faith opposed pagan cults with sacramental alternatives.
A visit to the exhibition can reveal further insights and invites you to visit several times.

During the family-friendly Discovery Tour, adults and children can learn all about the life of Ötzi the Iceman: At the archeoParc Museum, you’ll find various different challenges for you to overcome. A bus will take you and your bike to Glorenza or Curon at the Lake Reschen. Cycle along the "Val Venosta bycicle path" back to Naturno and enjoy a unique view over the surrounding mountains. You can rent bikes in our bike stores directly in the center of Naturno or at the bike rental of the Val Venosta train. The total distance from Curon to Naturno is about 65 km. Child seats, baskets and the e-bike batteries must be dismantled for transport. Please do not forget the key for the battery. Dogs are transported only on request and with muzzle.

Guided farm hike in Laion and its surroundings. The bus takes us from Laion to Pontives. From here we hike with our hiking guide Helmuth along the posttrail to the Oberspisser mountain farm, where we can immerse ourselves in rural life. In the meantime, the table is set for lunch (not included). We reach our third stop, the Fallerhof, via the posttrail. A tasting awaits us here and together we immerse ourselves in the world of the farm. The day ends with a hike back to Laion.
