Climbing is fun, not only for the children! On the climbing wall we train strength and agility in a completely playful way. But we also experience community and learn what it means to act in a self-determined way. By exposing ourselves to calculable risks, we experience success and failure and learn how to deal with them. The course is aimed at children from the age of 8 and adults. Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent!

What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises.

Is it possible to ride lamas? What sounds do Lamas make? Why do Lamas spit? Every Thursday the farmers Günther and Michael with their faithful companions are waiting for you and your family and will answer your questions. You have the opportunity to make friends with the Lamas, to guide them, to feed them, to stroke their soft fur and to take a short walk with the fluffy animals. How does the apple from Naturno get to your home? During the guided tour of the Texel fruit cooperative, you will learn everything worth knowing about the South Tyrolean apple. During the guided tour with our apple expert you follow the storage, sorting, packaging and loading. Our apple expert will tell you all kinds of interesting facts about the ingredients, varieties and storage of the apple. The tour is only in German and Italian language! The tour of the cooperative is not barrier-free.

Canyoning is the adventurous descent of streams. Slides, dips and long descents allow us to walk and swim in incredible and spectacular environments.

After first getting to know each other, starting from the animals’ winter quarters in Laces, with the llamas on a leash we walk through the surrounding apple meadows and along a serpentine path up to the castle ruins of Untermontani with a wonderful view over the entire central Vinschgau Valley. Continuing towards Obermontani Castle at the entrance to the Martell Valley, we may walk in the footsteps of our medieval ancestors and listen to the stories of our Llamero Florian before taking a rest at the castle. Florian will not only tell you everything about the llamas, but also about the historically significant surroundings. On an old Waalweg (irrigation channel) we then cross the woods above Laces with our cuddly four-legged friends that leads us to the sunny plateau of the Magrinböden. From there we descend via a forest path to the Bierkeller (refreshments possible), before returning to the starting point. If desired, a shorter route is also possible via Saint Stephen's Chapel (14th century - most extensive Gothic fresco cycle in Tyrol) or just through the surrounding meadows! The tour is especially beautiful during the blossoming time of the apple trees! Difference in altitude: approx. 100m Duration: approx. 3 hours (a shorter tour is also possible on request) Suitable for children from 4-5 years, smaller children should be accompanied by another person when leading an animal. In 1874, at the farm of breeder Josef Folie, a truly special colt was born: 249 Folie – the very first Haflinger and founder of the breed. In 2024, we celebrate 150 years of Haflinger breeding in South Tyrol as well as the Provincial Federation of South Tyrol Haflinger Horse Breeders’ 70th anniversary. From the village square, we walk along the "Mitterweg" with our hiking guide Diego. Past the culture house, the trail leads through green meadows to Tanurza. We pass through some small groves with ditches (small Kneipp area) and reach, slightly uphill Tanurza (1182 m). From Tanurza we return to Laion via the mail trail, marked P. Along the way, nature and landscape guide and herb expert Diego Deiana will introduce you to the world of herbs. 03 May - 09 June 2024 It is not an easy topic, but it is all the more important: the group of works ‘Drawing against forgetting’ by Austrian artist Manfred Bockelmann shows charcoal portraits of children and young people who were victims of National Socialist terror. With this series, Bockelmann wants to ‘bring the children back from the darkness’. He succeeds in doing so in a haunting way. The exhibition takes place in the building of ‘Emmas Bistro’ and marks the beginning of the series of events to mark the anniversary. 150 years ago, the community of La Val stood at a crucial crossroads: the decision to rebuild their church. It was a complex choice, since it meant building the new church on a different site, at Plan Morin, much closer to the majority of the population. However, such a decision also meant that the entire town centre had to be moved, including the cemetery, the presbytery, the school and the inns... Of course, not everyone was of the same mind. The community was divided by conflicting opinions and faced major challenges, both financial and labour. The stories, both grand and intimate, linked to this undertaking are meticulously documented and brought to life through a theatrical presentation that recounts and pays tribute to the founding of the town centre right up to the present day. The Bee Trail in Trens Freienfeld is a varied and educational themed hike for the whole family. On this peaceful and adventurous walk, you'll learn all sorts of interesting facts about bees, the creation, and processing of honey, and other bee products such as beeswax, pollen, propolis, and more. At the exploration and observation beehive, you can explore the inner workings of a beehive and learn about the processing of honey and other honey products. Possible with stroller; no risk of bee stings. Tasting of honey at the observation beehive is seasonal. Afterwards, there will be a small tasting at the Hotel Post in Trens. The starting and ending point of this interesting and panoramic circular hike is the village of Welsberg/Monguelfo (1,087m), which we reach sustainably in a short, pleasant train ride. First, we walk through the charming village center until we reach the entrance of the panoramic path. You walk in a magnificent natural landscape on the sunny side of Welsberg/Monguelfo, with a constant view of the Dolomites, the striking Dürrenstein and "Mister Kronplatz". Passing farms, you reach the fascinating, mystical Taisten Legend Trail (1,330m).
